Everything I Do, I Do for My Country
Reiji Mitsurugi
Over the last few days, an earth-shaking series of events have unfolded, and there are still more to come. No doubt you have heard the rumors of the PEACE Global Community planning an invasion of the United States. No doubt you have heard that Japan has had a hand in this plan. Well, as the Press Secretary for the Imperial Army, as the Japanese Ambassador to China, and as a Congressman, I must reveal the truth.
A terrible storm is coming, that will shake this international community. It will test loyalties, it will try friendships and it will threaten to tear apart ancient alliances. Most of all, it will have the potential to destroy nations.
Those of us in the Diet of Japan, in the Cabinet and even the President himself have been working tirelessly to ensure that Japan emerges from the coming turmoil the strongest that she can. Everything we have done, we have done to protect our people. And I say Japan, but truly we are concerned with the people of Korea as well. Our Protectorate of the Republic of Korea has been at the forefront of our mind here, as they are not a member nation of the PEACE Global Community and therefore has only Japan to look after her.
The safety of Japan, the safety of Korea, and the stability of our region are at stake. I, Reiji Mitsurugi, vow that I will not rest until our people are safe. We have forged a lasting alliance with the people of China, and we still have our friends in PEACE. We, the government of Japan, are watching every second with bated breath, ready to react at a moment's notice. We will not fail our people, nor our allies.
The Blessings of Heaven be upon us, for we will need them.

Reiji-sama, well written.
We will be able to weather the storm together.
I'd rather suffer 1,000 years of Indonesian occupation than give up my ideals for convenience and safety.
Shame on Japan for 10,000 years.
But what you would like most of all is to crush the entirety of Asia under brutal Boxer occupation for 10,000 years. I have no interest in your objectively wrong opinions, Songun Jackson.
All I know is that my nation prospered under Juche Box rule. Now it is run by fools who don't have a clue how to govern.
They are also funded in part by shameful multis.

And all that you know is wrong.
Good comeback, Reiji, where'd you learn it? The school of rubber and glue?
common sense - I think
Multi's 😃
How'd you explain the fact that your 'Songun' character was born before the death of your 'KJR' character?
Because I'm not the same person, Alfagrem. I've already explained my relationship to the player behind KJR, but I'm not repeating myself for those who can't be bothered to listen.
He's most definitely not the same person. Kim Jong Rad was a gentleman. He was a man of words. He was a man of worthy debate.
Songun Jackson is a blight upon the earth whose profit on language is that he knows how to curse.
A question between intellectuals Reiji. If you were to take a REALLY big poop, would it be a REALLY big poop for eJapan?
As I've said on the forums, the Government is trying to make the best of a bad situation, but here's a quote for the masses to ponder.
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
--Benjamin Franklin
Well said Soulscode (or should I say Benji F? 😃)
Everyone knows intellectuals don't poop.
Another well-written article from Ashigaru Taishou that reflects the spirit of the times in Japan.
