eUSA Forums Online

Day 1,121, 11:07 Published in USA USA by PigInZen

It is with great excitement that I am officially announcing that the US Forums are back online. This time, hopefully, for good. After 11 days, a couple attempts at a temporary solution and a false start penalty called on the offense last night, we have our forums.

Here's how it's going to work. Last night the forums weren't REALLY ready but the location was leaked and people started registering and posting before we had any semblance of a moderation team put together. In order to prevent the mass chaos that occurred in the public space last night and in order to make sure that tech stuff on our end was taken care of we have enabled the forums for registration right now. Those who alredy had an account at the temporary forum will be able to post. We'll be adding people that we can verify until we get the moderation team fully staffed. After then we'll revert back to the way it operated at the old forums where you could register and begin trolli... er... "playfully collaborating" with your fellow citizens.

A Quick Thanks to Some Special People:

1. s0beit for providing some behind the scenes administrative work on the serer and configuring some software.

2. Laxsnor for setting up the temporary forum and dumping it so we could use the data and structure in the permanent ones.

3. Krems for putting up with the nightmare that was unleashed last night and trying to do his best at moderating the massive amount of trollish behavior that cropped up.

Without further ado:

Update your bookmarks, the forums have a new domain name:

http://eusaforums.com/

That's p easy.
