eUS - eUK Ambassador Report

Dear eUS Officials and eUS Citizens.
As the eUS Ambassador to the eUK, I am bound to publish my weekly report and have held off for 24 hours due to the fiasco over eHungary's possession over Scotland.

I plan to present the Facts, I will offer only the truth on my communications with eUK Officials and their citizens.

eCitizens feelings towards the eUS
From the conversations both in the IRC and through multiple PMs with eCitizens (not officials) within the eUK, feelings have been mixed. I will not be naming these citizens, however they made comment that while they feel that the eUS likes to 'control' it's allies, that the eUS was still, to them, one that they felt secure with.
The eUK Citizens feel that both countries need to work harder on building relations and respect for one another.

Meetings with eUK Officials
My communications with the eUK Officials has been limited and mixed.

MoFA, Srachit
Most liaison has been with Srachit, MoFA. He has been a gentleman and has kept a steady, daily, communication.
He explained that even thought the 1st vote on FORTIS was turned down, relations and respect were still "good", however in our public forums there was a lot of aggressive postings towards the eUK from government officials and "from there onwards relations broke apart".

MoD &FA - Dishmcds
My discussions with Dishmcds has been short and abrupt. From the moment communication was made there was hostility, rude and obnoxious attitude directed at myself and at the eAmerican people. There were no attempts on his part to remain civilized and it was astonishing the lack of attention to detail being displayed.

He explained that the eUS and eUK are "not in any alliance" and that "We see them as a country which has acted out of greed and selfishness for nearly a year". I have asked to explain their feelings towards the MPP, his only reply was that they didn't want it and only kept it for the war games.
As a Minister of Foreign Affairs, his foreign diplomacy is appalling at best.
Rather than using an opportunity for an Ambassador to work on relations within the two countries, he concluded one messasge with this "I hear rumours that you're planning a counter into the UK. I'll only warn, especially given your history in invading countries which you have felt were inferior, that it would be as poor a choice as invading Mexico" and "Consider this the last time I'll respond to you", even though, multiple messages were sent afterwards containing an onslaught of personal attacks.

The eUK answer to ongoing communication
Instead of maintaining a respectful conversation, Dishmcds has decided to close contact with the eUS Ambassador's Office to the eUK and has made notice that no communication from Srachit can come to me.

eUK & eHungary Training War
There is not much more I can comment on this that hasn't already been mentioned publically. I will however add that I have failed in my attempts to add a clause to the contract to restrict eHungary's ability to attack using eScotland.
There is no attempt made by the eUK to protect the sovereignty of it's MPP with eUS.

My Conclusions
I have come to the conclusion that the eUK does not consider itself a friend of the eUS, and will not make any effort to abstain from hostilities. Closing the doors to Ambassador's, allowing Enemies to control bordering territories, Not wanting the MPP that is in place, looks to me like a plan to wage war against the eUS, whether it directly or indirectly.

If Dishmcds is the spokesperson for his country, and a reflection of the people in government at the eUK, then it is no wonder there are bad relations between these countries. A person who resorts to personal insults and attacks rather than maintaining debate is not someone to be reasoned with.

I will maintain an effort and extend that Olive branch to Srachit, but I see this Ambassadorship as being more restrictive now, and the next few days will be interesting.
