eSpain out 16,000 GOLD

Earlier today while eSpain was managing their treasury they came to place 16,000 Gold in a state owned company. Little did they know that it was up for sale for a mere 35 Gold, eHungarians monitoring the Spanish treasury soon noticed their reserves didn't show up in any of their organizations. After a thorough search they came across a company holding the missing 16,000 Gold which was promptly purchased.

Some believe it was an inside job or hacks, while others think it was nothing more than an unfortunate mistake. What I can say, is that this 32,000 Gold gap will be sure polarize the game far further than what was previously thought possible.

If you can't read Spanish the screenshot roughly translates to:

"Unknown people hacked the Spanish Bank (link) and donated the gold and ESP of Spain to the company Cekap wood (link) which was for sale for 35 gold, this company had all the gold from the Spanish Bank which was hidden for strategical reasons. The government doesn't know how it could have happened, but it's reported to admin and we hope our money will be given back as soon as possible.
Minister of Defense."

The updated article removed this part:

It appears eSpain is appealing to admins to collect their Gold by any means possible

Admins have stated in this article that no illegal actions have taken place.

"Dear citizens,

It is widely spoken about the Spanish Government losing 16.000 GOLD. Yesterday this amount of GOLD was retreated from several accounts for investigations. This is the standard procedure for cases where the provenience or legality of large amounts of money needs more analysis, in order to proper investigate the situation.

Later, investigations of transaction logs revealed that the GOLD had legit sources. The investigation ended with no evidence of a hack, or any other illegal actions. Therefore, eRepublik staff has no law-based reason to intervene.

The investigation conclusion:

- there is no bug, exploit, hack, or other flaw in eRepublik code associated with these 16.000 GOLD;

- a company has been bought having an important amount of GOLD in it, which is not illegal.
