ESO - My First Week, and Some Free Food
pandatoby
About myself
Well, my friend recently rejoined this game and seemed to be going on about how great it is, so I logged onto this (old) account, and had a look round at it. I did alright (I guess) in my first week, and have therefore chosen to stick with the game for a bit.
After looking through my past messages etc, I can only assume I was a bit of a prick 2 years ago, so look forward to exploring the game in a new light. I've currently just finished exams, so have a bit of time on my hands. I'm still learning the game at the moment, but I'm hoping to advance further in the future.
My time in ESO so far
I've never really known much about the political side of the game, and was never really bothered. ESO so far have been great for me. I think the main factor which stands out, is how well they reach out too the newer players in the party, and attempt to get them involved in some way or another (thats why I'm writing this I guess). ESO have quite experienced players, and answer any questions I may have in good depth which increases my overall understanding. Although they seem small (with 28 members), we seem to be growing at a reasonable rate, and the member count certainly does not detract from what you gain from the party.
I guess all most people know ESO from is the free food drops we seem to give in most our articles. But I think there is more than that. Recently our RPS tournament was released for a chance at winning large sums of cc which is available to anyone - I think that proves the leaderships willingness to organise and spend time on something.
Although most people seem to think of ESO as some form of charity, I urge you to explore further. It's growing as an establishment, and therefore has some great opportunities available which even if you don't necessarily agree with ESO, are great opportunities to help you advance in the game.
I think it all rests on me how well I want to do in ESO.
Just a note on our activity, out of our 28 members, we achieved a 15 member activity count over a 3 day period, I think having over a 50% activity rate over 3 days just shows how active we are, which is something - as a new player - which is really helpful.
Food for free
This is the reason you clicked, and probably the thing you scrolled down too get, if you did so - I urge you to read the above article.
Anyway, since our wipe, we all need cheering up, so post in the comments and I'll deliver you some q5 food asap, all you need to do is be an eUK citizen and post here - simple for the majority of you I guess.
