Erepublik vs. other online games

Hello dear readers,

atm I cannot into sleep so I did something I wanted for quite a while... Yeah write an article!

Maybe you can see this every day like I do:


So admin wants us to pay about 10 Euros every month what is ok because you CAN.
But hay atm I can buy q7 weapons on the black market with the same price I produce them on my own. But I have wasted hundreds of golds for building the companies. And with discounts like these things get even worse.
There is hardly a day without 30-50% dsiscounts, training contracts or whatever.
But hey in the end for new players motivation ends after some weeks of playing when you are reaching q4: Yor strengh vs. a 45k guy.

With the benefits and the incomming inflation erepublik has to compete with real games like all the new browsergames (The settler...) for free or games where you have to pay your monthly fee like:

Erebublik: 9,9EUR
WOW: 12,48EUR
Warhammer Online: 7,48EUR

So why should I pay 9,99 every month when I get unlimited advantages (everything but strengh) with rl payments in a browsergame? Why should I still play a game where you have only three daily tasks (work, train, daily order)?
Especially when you can have a real game with content and story updates on a regular base?
The amount of players is decreasing and there are no real improvements... but wait!

Today I got a mail to my old organisation mail adress where the erep teaam has told me to come back (to the org lolwoot?)
They said that there is Guerilla fight online.
Really erep team I tried that some times but it is just wasting time and money.

So let´s talk about these "improvements".
Guerrilla fight is a nice idea but:
Wait for a long time before doing anything
Pay for weapons but no safe way that you can use them and don´t loose money.
Normally only superior players like this kind of fight becasue they have a bigger chance to win.
No real formulas.
Easy to abuse (fire one shot and run as fast as you can after that so the enemy has no chance to deal any damage.
Make your friend an opponent (Easy because the battlefields are sooo empty)and you both don´t fire but reload so you never have the problem with empty guns.

Hmm gold mines.... Small country so still nothing to think about.

So I will not buy your "another discount"-offer because I know in some months I get the same for discount of the discount price.
For me they only show me that erep is waiting to die and on the day when the last hundreds of players ingame will not make the money for the servers+stuff it will end and all our rl money we invested in the months before will be lost.
