hi all,
i am playing this game for almost 3 months now. at first i thought it was a funny game which simulates the real world. but recently i have realized that it's far more different, a world in which rich guys satisfy their ego and haters taking revenge of the real life issues.
Probably most of you know whom i talking about. yes, its exohoritis, the guy that became a nightmare for turkish players.
according to recent numbers i heard from other people, he have bought 17k of gold. and certainly he will keep buying.
the question is, is there nothing to stop this guy?
i mean i dont know who exohoritis is but he can be a dollar billionaire right? may be he is rich enough to buy millions of golds and still feel nothing inside him? what are we gonna do about that?
being rich should not mean that he can destroy the balance in this game.
my suggestion to plato; i know men like exohoritis is the exact player profile for you but stop this madness, bring a limit to health pack and golds for sale.
erepublik once was a game in which e-states fighting each other but imho it became only a class struggle.

a loong time ago, it's limited buy health pack and gold. (if i'm not wrong, 160 gold per week)
with new version, this limit and game balance has been broken. i want old version again..

I strongly agree, if it is gonna be who has a bigger credit card limit game, we might as well quit allready. off course I understand if someone wanna put more of their time and money to have more advantage but this should not affect the game's dinamics. the game makers have to make a desicion here, either choose the quick cash and lose us in long term or make the game more fare for everyone.

this is the dumpiest claim that I have ever heard!! The dynamics of the erepublik is built up to spend money for the game.. it is simple, if you have money you will have better conditions inside erepublik..

Guys, there is a huge topic on this issue in the forum, I mean limiting health packs, hundreds of player voted and signed it (including some greek players). However admins do not care, this is a business for them and their main focus is profit. For the time being, they believe it is in their best interest not limiting health packs and selling as much gold as possible. Whether it is true or not, only time will tell...
So, if this is the fact... and if it is true that one player is buying thousands of gold and you strongly believe that he will continue this way, you have two choices:
a. Buy more gold than he buys.
b. Stop playing this game and leave for good as a whole e-country and e-citizens...
Simple as that...

Where is clean players rights? People will give up this game. Game organizers are shooting their foot by themselves.

Actually, it does not matter whether he buys the gold, he steals it or he cheats etc... The fact is, they HAVE the gold somehow.
You can only compete if you also HAVE the gold... and if you cheat you will get punished by admins. We have seen it many times in the last 2-3 months...
So, the only viable options are still the same; either you buy more gold or you leave the game for good...

he gets free gold from admins in return for his purchases. around %60-70 of his gold is donated by admins. I don't underestimate his purchases but we all know admins in favor some players for to keep spending higher. If nobody pays, so who will run the whole system.
Money talks. It is valid for almost all online games so no need to criticize. If you really want to play a good game, you should pay for it. There is no free lunch on this earth.

Plus you can blame exohoritis for your defeats, or face the truth and acknowledge that guys like Suriat (recently punished by Admin for cheater) Marco Polo, etc... can put millions of dmg in a battle like they did in Croatia, a country which is not even in their same alliance, and ignore Turkey.
Same for each one of your PANAM allies. Nobody tanked for Turkey, very few PANAM (Bra, USA, Fra) soldiers fight for Turkey.
So, with or without exohorits, you would have lost. And it's been a month already. Looks lke with your current friends, you'll be erased for a looooong time.
