Erepublik - Put on your happy face and 2 click. Otherwise you are probably breaking the rules!
I started playing erepublik around 6 months ago and first i was about to quit immediately since i felt tricked. The game did not offer anything i imagined. Anyways i hooked up with the right guy in the right time which lead to a betting company that we ran over a period of 2 months. All in all we had 90 subscriptions, over 200 unique customers and a average of 15 bets every day. During that time Sweden had a population of 2300 citizens. So we offered a great service that activated atleast 90 persons during a long time.
Then it was made forbidden, and im still surprised since pretty much everyone enjoyed our betting service even though they were not customers themselfs. Anyhow i lost alot of my interest for erepublik since just a few weeks later you introduced Lana as a desperate action. So all my companys started going downhill aswell since i did not want to lower wages since i thought it was soon about to turn around again. Prices would increase and things would be back to normal. Anyways after a while i felt i really had to lower the salarys and i did. I lost a couple of workers since some company owners were still advertising for workers offering the same good old salarys. Anyhow i continued 2 weeks more but prices were still going down so i felt that i better sell my companys now before i can never get rid of them. So i sold 2 out of 3 companys and ye we all knew what happend. Prices never went upwards untill recently due to the devaluing taking place in most countrys. But i felt this might happend so atleast i changed a big part of my SEK (Swedish currency) savings to gold a few days earlier.
Today erepublik market is collapsing and it would have been fine if it was something we could control. But we can not since no one with gold will accept to stop buy better training. Since then there will always be someone who still buys and becomes the best soldier. It is almost impossible to run companys aswell since salarys is so damn low so if you are gonna make some money you hurt the newbies which eventually will make them quit since they feel they can never gain a amount of gold. And what shall they even have gold for? I mean if they want to start a company it is just a bad investment. The only ones that afford training with napoleon is those who earned big bucks during the beta and early V1. Why should they buy guns? Someday they reach FM anyhow. So they better fight without weapons and put their gold on Napoleon.
Sweden had a somewhat babyboom now recently after we worked hard for many months to end up on a website. We managed to end up on the front page of Jesper.nu and now we are more then 6000 citizens but eSweden has never been so borring or dead. Why is that? Probably since you can not achieve anything right now and everyone is aware of that and some fell of the boat a week ago and today there was another big bunch. So i launched a football league within erepublik (eSweden). Just to activate people and make them have some fun that might keep them untill V2.
What is the immediate response from Erepublik admins? They warn me and delete my article since it is not relevant according to their rules. I mean are you just bullshitting. If the citizens says go left you will go far right. If they say climb you will dive. I can understand that your shareholders wants to earn cash, but when i started this game i thought about buying some gold since i wanted a good start. But i was struck of the fact that the gold was shit expensive. That is good if you look from the games perspective, since that way you gotta work hard for your cash unless your a millionaire but then you would not waste your time on a shitty game anyways.
Games are for people that actually can not just start a multi million company irl. So they do it in a virtual world instead. Anyhow the conclusion is that i would never ever buy gold today since i feel you go against those who should be feeding you. I can't think of a game i have played where i did not pay for some benefit whatever to help the development of the game. This is the first game that i have never contributed to since i feel im getting bitch slapped everytime im taking the game forward.

One last note: Fix the damn support, sometimes you don't even answer. If not i'll quit beeing polite in my support messages. Just a warning as you warn me for all my articles.

I miss betting, not fun to lose money though... If people fall for betscammers then they can blame themselves, it is the betters personal duty to check if the place he bets at is reliable.
To me it made me more active, as sports sure is fun and combining that with eRep and eMoney = FUN
Ye Alecian i remember you to be a regular and i liked that atmosphere between me, smulle and the customers. Aswell it was nice to see people screaming YES!! in the mIRC channel when some team scored in the last 10 minutes in a match and won them some money 😃
