eRepublik Basics - Learning More (2/5)

Day 1,591, 09:51 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Max Blue

This is the second article in my new mini-series aimed at filling in the gaps left by the incomplete eRepublik wiki. The series is called 'eRepublik Basics', but you don't have to be a new player to benefit from reading these articles...

'Experience points'
Experiance points (EP or XP) represent how much you have achieved on a points based scale. Once you have picked up a certain amount of XP you will level up. You pick up recognition (or XP) for working, training, fighting, voting, completing the daily task and completing missions.

Everytime you level up you will earn a little reward (1 Gold) too.

'Daily tasks'

These consist of 'working' which can be done via 'my places', and 'training' which is also done under the tab 'my places'.

Working will earn you 2 experience points (XP) and training will earn you 2 experience points (XP), however once you have done both you can claim an extra 1 XP and 1 strength point. This can be done by going to the 'homepage' and clicking on the 'get reward' button.

'The battlefield'

I believe this diagram explains the battlefield better than I can:

The 'Alerts Inbox' and 'Message Inbox'

The alerts inbox or the 'alerts', is where notifications of your eRepublik life go such as: friendship requests/friendship confirmations, notifications of employment/end of employment, notifications of people voting your posts/comments/commenting on posts involving you, sale of companies/currency/Gold and incoming donations.

The 'alerts' can be found at the bottom of your player preview on the left hand side of every page.

The message inbox is where you will receive private messages or PM's from other players.

The message inbox can be found at the bottom of your player preview on the left hand side of every page. If you want to write a message to someone click the blue 'new message' button on the right, or you can return messages to someone you are involved in a conversation with also from your message inbox.
