Many citizens were elated to hear that it was time to break out the party hats and uncork the champagne bottles, because the 4th Anniversary of eRepublik was upon them. It was a time to cut loose, to free yourself of inhibitions and birth control. A time of flagrant fornicating and disruptive delinquency, topped with a touch of malignant malpractice.

But it was not to be, as they loyal citizens of eRepublik soon discovered that this was not the party of irresponsible law-breaking they had expected. Instead, they uncovered one crucial fact; this was not an anniversary party, but a reunion.

Yes. The administrators of eRepublik threw themselves a tiny reunion party on a private island in the Bahamas, at which numerous famous bands played for their amusement.

The citizens were heartbroken. How could this be? They had expected a party that would celebrate what they had accomplished and what they would strive for, and instead got a trivial reminiscence of things that could have been but never were.

When asked to comment, administrators blatantly said;

"Anniversary? We stopped doing this sh*t three years ago. This is a reunion, my brother. This is a party, bro, don't worry too much about it. Now go mow that Hula girl's grass skirt and get me a pineappletini while you're at it, yeah?"
