Editor's note
* Yesterday due to timing of the event, I missed the ritualistic training war between Latvia and Lithuania. Rest assured it dd happen, with each side pretending very hard to hurt the other. The training war closed today without event.
* It's been suggested that I make a double whammy icon. I've tried, and frankly they all came out sucky. If anyone has any ideas for an image to use, feel free to let me know!

North America

* The First State was the first state to be reclaimed from France, as the US recaptured Delaware. The hero for France was hendy_le_sorcier, who is not French but an Indonesian picking up his first medal. For the USA, the hero was the top ranked American - Josh Frost.
* West Virginia was retaken by America from France. Melkion, a former French President, was the hero for France. The hero again for the US was Josh Frost, who currently has 23 battle hero medals and a bit less than 15 strength.


* Tennessee was reclaimed by the USA. Apparently, the Russians weren't that keen to keep it after they found out Jack Daniel's is distilled in a county where Prohibition is still enforced. The Russian hero was Elle Dinar Andari, an Indonesian with 20 strength, picking up her third award. For the US, the hero was capitanmahou - it was the Spanish citizen's first.
* The US reduced Russia to one North American territory by recapturing Kentucky. The hero for Russia was Craig Rossiter, it was the British General's first. The Croatian ratrak was the hero for the US, he's been very active in this war and picked up his tenth award.


* Hungary successfully land-swapped North Dakota back to the US, shedding themselves of territories they don't plan on keeping in hopes of escaping the perpetual Canadian block.


* Canada, undeterred by the Hungarian land-swaps, launched their next blocking double whammy in Manitoba.


* The US rode the initiative into Russia's last North American territory, attacking New Jersey.


* Hungary secured Saskatchewan against Canada's double whammy. The heroes for Canada were Lord of Alamut of Iran, and ArjaaAine of India - both of whom were hunting medals (though Lord of Alamut may have settled for some Pringles, judging by his avatar). By contrast, the Hungarian heroes - kosugi and Texas01 - were both Hungarian


* Hungary land-swapped Montana back to the US, taking away another target from the Canadian block.


* The US attacked Maryland, the second last French possession in North America.

Europe

* A resistance has started in the Swiss canton of Deutschschweiz against the Hungarian occupiers by Eleriel, a Swiss national. Remember, Switzerland is no longer Theocratic, as the Theocrats have moved elsewhere. The Swiss nationals had purchased the territory from Hungary for 500 gold.


* Russia attacked Finnish held Northern Russia. Russia gained initiative in this was as Tennessee and Kentucky were captured by the US, and the forces of EDEN/Fortis decided to hold off to better prepare for an assault on the last Russian US territory: New Jersey.


* Siveria, the last Hungarian held Ukrainian region was handed back to the Ukrain.


* Spain liberated Andalucia from the Brazilian occupiers. Thus, Spain is made whole. The hero for Spain was taguaro, a Spaniard , one of Spains biggest media moguls, if not the biggest, and a 19+ stregth field marshal, doing a total of 25924 damage. The Brazilian hero was rjaffier, a 17+ strength Brazilian tank doing an amazing 30031 damage.

Asia

* Pyongan was successfully landswaped to the newly emerged Shaolin North Korea. This is a PTO/landswap, designed to create a pro-Russian regime in North Korea. Remember the old North Korea was pro Fortis/EDEN, and 'died' aiding her allies. It remains to be seen how long lived this PTO is.

* The training war between the Philippines and Malaysia in Sabah started again.
