Ok folks. I've completely separated out training wars. I'm mapping both their opening and closing, but they will not appear on any overview continental maps any more. They happen too often, and I hate mapping the same thing over and over. Also, as training wars, they shouldn't detract from any real action going on around them on the overview maps. Also now, I've completely stopped using the North American Fortis logo. I'm using a new 'bro' logo, a brogo I guess you would call it. In actions involving Canada, when the action is geared around the Brolliance, I will use the brogo, otherwise I will use EDEN. For the US, I will always use the brogo unless some reason comes up not to.

Also, I'm not normally one to even mention other papers, but just this once I will. Not to disparage the holy mullet, bringer of the party in back, but I care not one whit whether or not Fortis was created in contract. I saw Canada and Spain sacrifice themselves for an alliance that did not exist in contract, but certainly existed in the hearts of their citizenry. I believed, and like fairies, that makes it so! x(

North America

* A resistance was started in Hungarian occupied Saskatchewan by VLaci, a Hungarian. It appears the Hungarians are falling back to Nunavut, with the government evacuating citizens from Manitoba and Saskatchewan to Nunavut. Why? My thoughts are because Nunavut is high diamond, the only high diamond Hungary has. Citizens are being evac'd to Nunavut to build the wall higher. Nunavut is the region they want to keep, so are focusing on just keeping Nunavut. Thus this is a landswap. Not really a diabolical one, and I doubt the Brolliance will resist it going through.


* The US attacked Hungarian held Saskatchewan. Why? The US won't win, because the resistance war will most likely succeed, closing this battle. The reason we are left with is initiative. The battle for Washington at this point was about to close with a win for Hungary. Remember the battle for Washington was primarily for healing up American citizenry. When that battled closed, if the US hadn't attacked by that point, Hungary would have initiative. This never mattered before, because Hungary didn't want to attack US regions and activate MPPs, but with the US occupying Manitoba, Hungary has a US held region they can attack. Why Saskatchewan and not Nunavut? Cost I suspect. Nunavut has almost 1,300 people, Saskatchewan around 60. Big price difference for a battle meant to maintain initiative.


* Hungary secured Washington State from the American attack as expected. The Hungarian hero was canavur, a Turkish Military unit doing 12870 damage. The American hero was Australia's #2 citizen: MachineMadness doing 8489 damage to get his second battle hero award.

Asia

* With his resistance war in Southern Thailand about to close unfavorably to him, Alfagrem started another resistance war Central Thailand. Alfagrem started these to protest the Theocrats being allowed to join in the training war with the Philippines, but evidently the Federal Republic of South East Asia is comfortable now that they can defeat these daily resistance wars and have their training war as normal too, in essence giving them two training wars.


* The resistance war in Southern Thailand was crushed. The hero for Alfagrem was mAonK, Japan's #1 citizen getting his 43rd award. Did mAonK do this for the award or because as a Japanese national, he was sympathetic to Alfagrem's protest war, given that Japan opposed the Theocrat PTO of the newly emerged South Korea, and took an active part in trying to help the South Korean's avert the PTO? Who the heck knows, but it's a reasonable enough train of thought that I felt I had to mention it. The hero for the Federal Republic of South East Asia was axllyne, a Japanese national, Japan's #2 citizen. So, that frankly puts a damper on the previous train of thought now, doesn't it? 😛

Opened Training Wars

* The Philippines and the Federal Republic of South East Asia started up another training war in Sabah.

Closed Training Wars

* Indonesia's training war in Shanxi closed.


* The Czech/Slovak training war in Western Slovakia closed


* The training war in Samogitia between Latvia and Lithuania and all their friends came to a close.
