This newspaper, l'Internationale, is published on behalf of an globe-spanning organisation of the same name that brings together far-left and revolutionary parties to work on common goals and projects. It is published in a different country each time.

To celebrate the recent preservation of the Czech Republic against Polish assaults, we are publishing this week in Praha!

Enjoy Capitalism!

Our friends in the "American Imperial Capitalists" party have been running ads lately tyring to stir things up with rhetoric about "pansy socialists" and "socialist pigs". We wish them all the success in the world at flailing their e-peens around, but let's set the record straight with respect to the facts:

* There is no coherent "capitalist" movement in eRepublik, unless you want to count Dear Admin's on-going attempts to remove real life cash from your real life wallet.

* The incoherent ravings of "anti-socialist" lunatics like the "American Imperial Capitalists" don't represent the views of most players who do genuinely desire to put an emphasis on free trade and free markets in the way they run their e-parties, e-businesses, e-organizations or e-governments.

* Bashing President Obama, which seems to be the point of their latest ad, as a "socialist pig" is an insult aimed at real-life Americans, not least of all those for whom he is their Commander-in-Chief.

* There is a long-standing and internally coherent e-socialist movement in eRepublik:

** It goes all the way back to Beta, with the creation of the e-socialist republic of Portugal.
** Germany, Russia, Italy, Bolivia, Czech Republic and other countries in the New World have had socialist majorities at various times.
** The e-socialist and e-communist parties are still among the largest and most active in several countries, including Spain, Indonesia, Germany, Netherlands, the UK and Ireland.

* An approach to the game based on principles of social solidarity and collective ecnomic benefit has found expression in numerous ways, with a wide variety of interpretations. Not the least of these has been the promotion and develop of communal enterprises: a type of economic organization that is at the foundation of such "pansy" outfits as Seal Team 6.

* Over a dozen parties internationally, representing thousands of players, are members of the Internationale, a cross-national, cross-alliance organization of parties representing working class players thorughout the world.

* The eUSA -- and any other country in the New World -- would quickly be devastated if it did not maintain investments in "socialist" programs that encourage, support and welcome new players, that maintain a strong military organization, and that help to rein in currency speculators and "market-moving" big capitalists,

* Leftists in the new world want to see more such investments. Many believe that state-managed economies will be the most successful and will lead to the biggest benefits for average players.

* And since the "American Imperial Capitalists" have dragged real-world imagery into their campaign, perhaps it is also worth noting that leftists in the real world generally want to rein in the forces that have led to a collapse of the world economy, driving hundreds of thousands of Americans out of work, robbing many of their homes, putting college out of reach for quite a few, and leaving the "richest country in the world" with health, education and environmental protection programs that are dismal when compared to other highly developed countries. These same forces have dragged the US into two costly, ineffectual and purposeless wars that continue to drain the treasury, while the gap between rich and poor widens even further. Frankly, being a leftist in America today is the most patriotic thing a person can do. Unfettered capitalism is literally wrecking America.

Be a REAL American hero. Fight exploitation, oppression and imperialism!

-- The Revolutionary Committee of the Socialist Freedom Party

The Internationale is an association of far-left oriented parties and organizations around the eWorld, created to help the development of socialism in all the countries.

The association is constitutionally based and run via a democratic process. The highest authority in the Internationale is the Congress, which includes representatives from far-left parties around the world. Each party has one vote. Member-parties appoint a representative to the Internationale Congress, which in turn elects a Chair each month, who also has a vote.

Various committees and departments are organized to carry out the decisions of the Congress. The business of the Internationale takes place on the Internationale forum.
