Join the new world

Over the past few months I’ve fallen into the rut of two-clicking. In part because I don’t feel as much investment in things but mostly because real life stuff (school) has taken precedent in a big way, eating up vast swaths of my time. But an article was published recently that has me a little excited. Has me reconsidering how much time I want to spend in eRepublik.

CivilAnarchy is running for POTUS.

So what? Every month people run for POTUS, why should this be any different? That’s usually how I feel. Even when I was publishing regularly, criticizing Jewitt or endorsing Josh Frost, it never really felt significant or different. Those articles of mine didn’t really matter because those elections really, deep down, didn’t matter. That’s not an attack on our wonderful presidents, it’s just that there was nothing that was going to change significantly, one way or another, no matter who was elected. With CivilAnarchy we see a broad and even revolutionary platform that will result in significant changes.

There are a lot of folks who won’t like the changes he promised, at least not all of them. I’m not even sure I’m a fan of all of them. But I’m a fan of CivilAnarchy, the two term congressman and PP of the Socialist Freedom Party, one of if not the best party in the eUSA. I’m a fan of the unique ideas meant to create a better community and increase activity, from holidays to the new cabinet. Those are changes that can be very healthy for the country.

CivilAnarchy is a dedicated eMerican and has had his hand in everything, both foreign and domestic affairs, military and monetary matters, in short, everything that matters to our nation. Everything that we should expect from the president.

I think this time, this election, this article might matter. If it does then it is because, not of the writer, but of the person it speaks of. If this election matters it is because it will be the election that CivilAnarchy wins. If any of this is important it’s because, for the first time in a long time, we have the opportunity and the privilege to put someone into office with ingenuity and a gusto for getting things done and doing them right and furthermore in a way that no one else could imagine.
