End of Month MoFA Report

Day 807, 19:28 Published in Australia Australia by Jasper Ferguson

It’s been a month full of progress for Australia. On the Foreign Affairs front, we’ve been very active with Australia’s acceptance into EDEN. The month started off with meetings with both Brazil and South Africa. While the early meetings were not fruitful, they did lead to a second meeting with South Africa and as a result, Australia with our EDEN allies were able to plan out the defense and liberation of South Africa’s regions that had been held by Indonesia.

Getting Indonesia out of the African theatre is a huge step forward in regional stability and our nation’s long term security. By confining Indonesia once again to only its original regions, the threat imposed by them has been greatly reduced. While the attempt to liberate Guateng was not successful, Brazil is currently waking up to the fact that their regional threats will no longer be tolerated either. Rest assured, Guateng will be liberated and Brazil like Indonesia will no longer oppress our neighbors.

Reconciliation with South Africa is a key long-term strategy. Having a strong neighbor is to our benefit. We need South Africa to be strong enough to stand up to threats instead of being forced by Phoenix nations to acquiesce to their demands or face annihilation. I’d like to personally extend my thanks to Mark Morcom for having the courage to lead South Africa in a new direction.

Our recent military deployments as part of EDEN operations in Europe, Africa and South America have helped to earn us respect on the world stage. I believe that by continuing down this path, we will strengthen our relationships with our allies, leading to a more prosperous, more secure Australia.

I’d like to thank Cottus Arci for placing his trust in me and for his invaluable leadership during this past month. Australia can be proud of the professional way our nation was represented in EDEN meetings and in diplomatic negotiations. Special thanks go out to Patti11 as well, for all of his hard work during the month and for his friendship. Special thanks also to the leadership and members of Congress for their diligent work and debates in regards to our MPPs. It's been a pleasure and an honor working on your behalf.
