ElGorro for President! - Route to Freedom

Beste Burgers van eNederland,
Ik heb besloten mijzelf verkiesbaar te stellen als Country President voor komende maand.
Waarom? Omdat ik denk dat zaken anders of beter moeten!
Het belangrijkste waar ik als President komende maand aan wil werken is het terugkrijgen van één of meerdere regio's.
Zoals veel mensen weten, ben ik groot voorstander van onderhandelen. Polen heeft 10x zoveel inwoners als je vergelijkt met de hoeveelheid inwoners van Nederland. Via vechten kunnen we misschien wel een regio terug pikken, maar Polen zal altijd met het grootste gemak de regio weer terug pakken. Ook als we in een Alliance komen te zitten, zal dit niet veel aan de situatie veranderen.
Onderhandelen is daarom ook de enige route op langdurige stabiliteit. Natuurlijk binnen de kaders, waar het volk achter kan staan. Nederland heeft duidelijk aangegeven niet te willen betalen voor de regio's. Dus dat zal ook niet gebeuren.

Dear Citizens of eNetherlands,
I have decided to run for Country President for next month.
Why? Just because some things needs to be changed or improved!
The most important thing I want to work on as President, is trying to get us one or more of our regions back.
As you may know, I am in favor of negotiations. Poland has 10x the number of citizens compared to the Netherlands. By force we may be able to liberate a region, but Poland can always occupy it again easily. If we are member of an Alliance, that wont change this situation.
Negotiations are the only way to stability for a longer period of time. Of course within the boundaries the people can agree with. The Netherlands decided not to be willing to pay for our own regions. So, that wont happen.

Not against negotiations , but last few times it wasn't a great succes, wish you all the luck in the world when you get the chance to deal with the polies ..........

yup en wens je ook t beste toe , zolang er niet voor betaald hoeft worden heb je mn zege.
Maar wat is het probleem nou als ik je het beste toe wens ?????
Maar als je toch al naar tegen me doet , jij valt ook in herhaling met je uitspraak dat je stopt wanneer je de verkiezingen verliest ........
Stop je nou na de volgende verkiezingen van augustus weer ??of blijf je doorgaan tot je gewonnen heb???

In my mind negotiations could benefit us in the short term.. but in the long term i much prefer a strong and free Netherlands.. its to bad you refuse to work with your fellow countrymen.. I think together we could cover all the basis...
Im not sure why everyone assumes we are so against negotiations.. As CP i will represent the people.. and if thats the best and desired short term way to regain a region.. then lets talk about it.. what are the pinks terms.. where are we at on negotiations... please share!!!!!!!!!!! before you bail and quite on your countrymen... lets talk about these negotiations..
Simple, if NL wants negotiations, vote ElGorro. If you want to keep on fighting, vote Nomadicracer.
Not true , negotiations are fine , but when we need to pay for freedom we rather pay merc's to fight to freedom
I am up for whatever is best for the Netherlands.. I wish the negotiation options/ terms weren't a secret.. Why not share so we can all make the most educated decision possible.. & "keep fighting" ??? we haven't tried anything yet.. all the experienced leaders have left us hanging on battle plans.. that should change whether we negotiate or not..
The majority of people voted against negotiations not too long ago. Negotiating is one thing but extortion is something quite different. Until now, every attempt to negotiate with Poland resulted in an extortion attempt from their side. They're earning way too nicely from occupating us to seriously consider giving that up. Unless ofcourse they can milk us dry a bit more in exchange for a worthless region.
Then not vote for me.
If I believed for one moment that you would quit eRepublik after one term as president, I might consider voting for you. But unfortunslely...
Stability for a long time...like that will make this game more fun😁 Seriously, the few bucks we make in Congress gold, is paid by a loss in spirit imo. Bonuses are next to nothing, not even worth the count.
Besides, I tend to consider our community as the eNL, not just our core regions. If we can start acting and moving as a whole, there are lot more ways to explore the possibilities of this game. But maybe stability is what the eNL wants, so let's see who all agree with you. Good luck in the elections.

We already know negotiations won't get us there thanks to our former DemNL CP...
What are you planning on negotiating about? if you're not paying for the regions what are you willing to exchange with the pink? you're going to ask to give a region back without giving anything in return? That's not negotiating, that's begging I think.
