Election day draws to a close, candidates neck and neck

Day 286, 10:15 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by CV James

With just 6 hours to go until the polls officially close, the two leading candidates for the Presidency, KIA Sneak and Dishmcds are still neck and neck.

KIA Sneak took an early lead at the beginning of the day, whilst Dishmcds looked set to win at midday with a lead at one point of 12 votes. However, KIA Sneak has now regained the top spot with 103 votes over Dishmcds's 101. Alain Bates's candidateship never really took off and has just 36 votes, perhaps his criticism was too widely reported.

In Congress elections, the PCP have pretty much been leading all day, narrowly leading their nearest rivals, UK Reform by 10 votes. The People's Communist Party currently has 85 votes compares to UKR's 76. The Unity Party is in third place with 42, whilst the UBP and LTU bring up the rear.

Yet just 19% of the total eUK population has voted, perhaps the scene would be very different with a higher turnout. eUK Telegraph wishes to take an impartial view of the two leading candidates and urges those who have not yet voted to do so as soon as possible! This is turning out to be a very tense and highly contested election.

Coming soon, we have an EXCLUSIVE interview with the potential future President of eUK, Dishmcds. Subscribe now to make sure you don't miss it!
