eKıbrıs Selanik Buluşması - eCyprus Thessaloniki Meeting

Day 1,715, 18:49 Published in Cyprus Cyprus by Balig Edli

I'll write the article from my own point of view. After my vacation in the Dodekanese and Kiklades, I went to Athens for 1 night and I met the liselis (actually 20 yrs old) marcelbe and balboa13. They took me to Goody's instead of the Akropolis, so it was closed when we got there 😃 We made a tour around it and during the tour an old man asked marcelbe if he was going to elementary school after he found out that he knew nothing about the historical places. I realized marcelbe was a very ignorant guy so I visited the Akropolis on my own, the next day. Then we took the train to Thessaloniki, and this is a photo on the way.

We met with iaberis, xam xam, Vincenzo Alessandri, Rejep Dectash, Asomac in the train station. They drove us to the hotel and then we met again later. Some photos from the lobby:

Then we left the hotel and went to an ouzeri called Ούζου Μέλαθρον to drink some ouzo and malamatina+cola and eat a dinner.

After that, we went to a place called Ραχάτι where we had some nargile and beer. You know who is who, so I'll stop tagging people now 🙂

Later that night, Andrei Lebowski joined us.

The next day we went to a cafe called Bungalow White, then later, we went to a brewery called The Beer Saloon. I'll tag the new faces.

The tank and the brain of eCyprus 😃 (yeah there is photoshop because it could not be read without it)

We continued on drinking at the castle 🙂

We really had a lot of fun in those 2 days thanks to our Greek hosts. People always talk about Turkish hospitality, but the Greek guys had the same hospitality. They drove us everywhere, helped us in everything and made us feel like we were at home.

On my last day, we wanted to visit Atatürk's house, but unfortunately it was closed for 5 months due to renovation. But we didn't give up and took some photos 🙂

To say the last, but not the least, it was a really great vacation and a meeting for me. I met very good guys and had an amazing time. I thank each of them for making this possible. Sas agapaw panpas!

PS: Next meeting will be in Istanbul.
