- eIrish Newspaper Competition -

Hey everyone,

We didn't get many entries for our Newspaper Competition by the end of last term so we didn't continue with it at the time...

So we're going to try again and we will use the few nominations we got and let's get this done.


Here are the categories:

1) PRESENTATION:
For exceptional newspaper design, imaginatively conceived and creatively executed for maximium impact.

2) MULTIMEDIA:
Given for great use of media to better express the subject of the article.

3) INVESTIGATIONS:
For exceptional work in investigations, where a powerful article reveals information of importance to the eIrish community.

4) INTERNATIONAL:
Given for exceptional, compelling reporting and writing on important world events and issues.

5) POLITICS:
For exceptional reporting in the area of politics.

6) BEST NEWCOMER:
For exceptional articles by new eIrish newspapers. *Must have less than 15 articles written or be less than 3 months old*

7) HUMOUR:
Awarded for the funniest article this term

How to enter:
- You may PM your article links here (the "To" field will be blank but your messages will go to us)

Dates:
- We will give you guys two days to send us more nominations, so until the end of July 15th.
- We will publish an article between July 15th and 17th, with the articles, and links for each nomination in each category.
- The you guys will be voting via PM to us here with your votes for each category until the end of July 20th.
- We will then publish the article of the winners of each category by July 22nd.
Prizes:
The winner of each category will get 20 Q7 weapons each.
(We are open to donations for these if you wanna make the prizes bigger)



We'll also being coming at you all with another competition in the coming few days, called "Draw the Player".
