eIreland - what you should know

Day 2,001, 15:53 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by surferdude

Hello eUK,

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m surferdude, newly appointed ambassador to eIreland. Since we are their lords and masters for now (they are wiped), I thought I would enlighten you about them. It is important that the public at large knows enough about them to voice their opinion on what should happen in the situation.

Population

eIreland – 551
eUK- 2,727

In the past, their congress has shown to be hard to control and impulsive at times, not reflecting what their CP wants to get done.

Interview with CP

1. What is your official view of the eUk?

My official view? Obviously in the past few months we have been at war but I hope that this can be put aside and we can continue the good relations we had before the training war fiasco.

2. What is your unofficial view of the eUk

same as above

3. If you could compare the eUK to any animal, what would it be?

Well it would have to be the classic bulldog 😛

4. What would you like most to happen regarding the relationship it has to Ireland?

I would like our relationship to return to how it was before the war between our two countries.

5. Do you have a statement for the eUK public?

I think I've said everything in the past few questions.

What some of us have to say

“Ireland has and will remain an interesting example. As recent events will attest, they have not always been the easiest nations to deal with. Nevertheless, as Mitte points out talks are continuing.” –McAfee01

“We've always had a bit of a love hate relationship with Ireland, On and off wars followed by friendliness and back into the cycle of war again. The eIrish have to be the closest community to ours, outside of our alliance, for one the crossover between our media is pretty heavy and you're more likely to see more eIrish commentators in the eUK than any other eNationality. Their community is split at the moment though between a few factions and the recent sabre rattling and terrible use of RL issues and tensions for ingame political gain comes from this factionalism in my opinion. Talks are ongoing but finding a balance between what both our eNations would like and expect, as well as the populations of both eNations, is incredibly tricky. Either way it'll be an issue which goes before congress and then no doubt the public as well in the eUK before any real serious steps forward will be taken.” - Ayame Crocodile

Some have more radical opinions, “I've already said this, exterminate” - Nicoli Pace

eIreland, one small country, but one big concern for the eUK. It seems as if the cycle of war and peace will always continue for the two countries locked in a never ending battle. I hope that you learned a little more about eIreland and that you can make better informed decisions about them in the future.

Stay cool,
