eIreland Community Awards [results]
The Irish Community
Here is the announcement of the winners of the eIreland Community Awards for the month of July 2011. Many thanks to all the eCitizens who took part in the nominations and voting process which has thrown up a most interesting set of results.
Once again, these iconic banners have been prepared by Luminara. We have introduced a new award this month, The Ministry of Community Special Award, which goes to Captain_Jack_Harkness (posthumous) in recognition of his YouTube recruitment video and was nominated by our own Head of Security (toilets), Viktor Kurgan. The figure from Irish history chosen by Luminara for this award is the blind harpist and composer, Turlough O'Carolan(1670-173

PS
That about wraps it up for me this term and for a while. It has been a great pleasure serving as MoC alongside Antonio “Tony Bagels” Colbiano, one of life’s true goodfellas. Good luck to the incoming crew.

James Keiller

Thank you.
Please transfer my winnings to Anthony Udasco, runner-up in the Newcomer To Watch category.
you da man JK
Grainne gets Loveable Rogue and PP Irelander of the Month...!!! lol
Well it wasn't going to be the other way around Gormley, these awards are all well and good for a bit of fun, but I'm not sure how much they really mean. It was crazy when the prizes were worth several gold each 😮
Lets just hope that this time people won't try to use it for their own political goals like when Padraig won the lifetime achievement award a couple of months ago :/
Soon as I get that 250 IEP, I'm buying more weapons for our troops.
Thanks for the nomination guys.
/me does victory dance
Dear Luvly Irish,
First, don't invent new categories each month : P as we are out of punt faces 🙂
Second, one of our luvly citizens no other than CT mentioned banners as 'same shity pound banners every month' which I found quite accurate. 🙂 So I expect a change if I can spare time 🙂
Thanks peeps, using weapons right now in NI.
Also, James Keiller is a legend. Jus' sayin.
Also, I'd just like to mention someone who got no awards, but put in a mountain of work this term-
ChewChewShoe. A pleasure to work with all term.
voted ; )
MikeBane needs no awards!
voted and subbed 😁
mwuahahahahaha
Congratulations to all.
James Keiller is a legend but was wondering what has become of his multi DerBrad. Haven't seen him lately.
I will let Captain_Jack_Harkness that he won something. That might entice him back to the game 😛
@Yddub - in a shallow e-grave with the Missing Marcus?
😮!
DerBrad? Last seen driving to Vegas with all our gold plumbing. Bastardo.
What a dream crew running MoC this term, I reckon it will never be topped .
Great job guys : )
IB is correct. James Keiller IS a legend. It has been a blast working with him and all the others in the MoC.
o7
give me mah dam lifetime achievement next time
thank you plz
So Minister of the Month was Patrick O'Leary or Padraig or are they one in the same?
Partick = Padraig
O'Leary = O'Laoghaire
In gaelic my name means is they put.
Wow, snazy lookin'.
@Patrick: cool, how nice of them.
@ Patrick, Artaxerxes
As you may notice, minister of month banner is in Irish only (as a tribute to Douglas Hyde as explained before), so I didn't want to miss opportunity of having a winner in Irish name 🙂
fantastic stuff! o7 always for eIreland!
Well in that case Padraig.... SHM's should read loud mouth mfer with not an ounce of positivity in his ramblings. That'd be kind of hard to fit on there though I suppose....
\o/
thanks 😃
it will be donated to Ireland

congratz to all the winners 🙂
Congratulations and salutations
