The game started off with a fluke shot by the 5th which lead to the first goal by Raw784 assisted by Corona. The lead would be short lived as Walter Mitty was sent in alone on Mustache Dictator by Kelso73 and evened the score at 1-1. Corona was unchecked in front of Alucard Bloodlust during a powerplay and took advantage 2-1 for the 5th. Cesar Augustus seemed to be having trouble getting past Dade Pendwyn who repeatedly checked him hard into the boards. Tamas Dzsudzsak redirected an ElitaOne slapshot from the point in for an equalizer just before the end of the 1st period. 2-2 after one despite 1st platoon having spent most of the period skating rings around the 5th.

The second period started off much as the first had finished with a Tamas goal, this time off of a beautiful pass from Kelly Mahoney, 3-2 for the 1st. Just seconds later BelatedDeath found Tamas with another pass that just eluded a diving Mustache Dictator, leaving an open net for the Tamas hattrick, 4-2. The 5th’s supporters began heckling Dzxudzsak, telling him to buy a vowel. It seemed to energize Jacques Parizeau as he took a Niall Eoin pass and skated through a BelatedDeath check to rifle it past Alucard Bloodlust to bring the 5th to within one at 4-3. Clancy Forrest put the advantage back to two, at 5-3, with a hard rising slapshot after a Kelso73 set up. An unfazed Tamas put it to 6-3 with another perfect pass from Kelly Mahoney to end the second period. Many of the 5th's supporters were seen slipping out during intermission.

The third period scoring started after a holding penalty to Kinote of the 1st. On the resulting powerplay Corona notched his second goal with Naill Eoin getting his second assist, 6-4 for the 1st. Jim Giggles almost had a breakaway seconds later but lost possession to Clancy Forrest on a questionable hit at the blueline. Joe Smith VI made an ill advised pass that was intercepted by Anwrah, who slipped it to Kelso73, who managed to slip it through the 5 hole for a 7-4 advantage. Anwrah was having a good night and next shift out gave a good pass to Dade Pendwyn who put the slapper into the top shelf, 8-4 for the 1st. The 5th although dispirited never resorted to rough play, instead they almost pulled one back when defensemen Tlyerection and Wiedmaier played the give and go perfectly, only to have the shot blocked by a sliding Walter Mitty. As the clock ran out the last of the period, Kinote cleared the puck into a corner where it bounced out at an odd angle hitting Tamas in the butt and past a startled Mustache Dictator for his 5th goal and a 9-4 final score. Despite playing with 3 women the 1st Eagle Eyes had a relatively easy time dispatching the 5th Joint Task Force. Will other CAF platoons dare challenge the obvious superiority of the 1st?

Stars of the game were Tamas Dzsudzsak with 5 goals, Corona with 2 goals and an assist in a losing effort, and Kelso73 with a goal and 2 assists.
