Your fp was deleted and today we changed the rules: it is not normal to get fp points for showing that sign, no matter the nationality and especially Greeks.

This article is respecting everything game rule and it was written in order to inform about the change of the avatar of the Sarissa Warriors military unit and to prove that is 100% legal

Today I received a pm from plato and an FP point because of my avatar and a "warning" that I will be permanent banned if I didn't change Sarissa Warriors military unit avatar in the next 72 hours.
Due to the message it is not allowed to contaminate the New World with filth such as External advertising, Spam,Insults, Pornography, Vulgarity or Racism.

My avatar (which is and the avatar of sarissa warriors military unit) had the Vergina sun symbol, and this is flaming according to the pm I received.

WIPO is The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and it is one of the 16 specialized agencies of the United Nations. WIPO was created in 1967 "to encourage creative activity, to promote the protection of intellectual property throughout the world."

So, United nations are telling the Vergina Sun, is a Greek symbol. That means that it can be used from Greece (as nation) and from Greek citizens without any problem.

In my life I have learn to respect everyone and everything. I am 2,5 years in this game and I have shown that I am respecting every player and every law. I have friends from all over the world, even from nations that we are "enemies" in the game. Almost all users are know me, I am having one the biggest newspapers here, and I am well known for my efforts to make the eRepublik game-play better through my stats site.

For example, for 2 months now, admins have ban my stats site (eRepublik Maxihellas) and I didn't said nothing, despite that I am not agree with their decision. I could made a lot of tricks to bypass that ip ban, but I didn't do it because I respect some things.


But telling that I am flaming by using a Greek symbol recognized from the United nations (UN), it's unbelievable for me.


Dear admins. You are asking us to respect every game rules and laws, and this is right. But you must respect too all the international laws. And due to the international laws I have any right to use as an RL Greek citizen, Vergina's sun as my avatar.



Anyway....because you asked it for it, I change it.

I will write here, where I took my inspiration for the new Sarissa Warriors avatar and how I made it.


As all we know passports are official national documents.

The Greek passport is been accepted from all countries (and from FYROM)

If you go at the pages 22-23 you will see this image (****the image link is from the Greek ministry of citizen protection***😉 :



As you can see the image that is been used in pages 22-23 of Greek passport is showing the Vergina's larnaka. The original photo (in color) which was used at Greek passport is this:


You can see that is the same picture in the next image (Just see the angles to realize it):



As I told before, Greek passport is been accepted in every country (and FYROM). So, all countries are accepted that image. I am making too many trips at Europe every year and I have passed from FYROM a lot of times without any problems.

No Greek has problem to go to FYROM (or any other country) or to travel through FYROM (or any other country). That means that the image shown at pages 22-23 is being acceptable from every country.


So, I took the upper surface of Vergina's larnaka:

And I made the new Sarissa Warriors avatar by pasting the upper surface of Vergina's larnaka at the old avatar.

So, the new Sarissa Warriors avatar is:



As I proved above Sarissa Warriors avatar is 100% legal because is using an image that is been in the Greek passport. Greek passports are official Greek documents and they are been accepted in all countries over the world (and FYROM). So, there is no flaming against anyone, as the greek passport and it's images are being approved from any country authorities all over the world.
