EDEN - The sleeping beauty!

EDEN is a great alliance trying to unify nations, big and small, in a common goal. It’s also a great buffer to the other military super powers of eRepublik. EDEN, the brotherhood, has a great variety of nations, from small nations like eNorway to great nations like eGreece. EDEN members share good communication and respect for each other, despite their differences in size and strength. It’s a brotherhood of friendship and protection. Today there are 16 members and 2 trial countries (from eWiki), eNorway is one of these nations blessed with the privileges we get from this alliance. Since eNorway rarely have wars of its own we are constantly fighting for our EDEN friends, as we expect them to do for us in our hour of need.

This sounds wonderful in theory, but as most theories the practical outcome isn’t what was hoped for. Where was EDEN when Poland whiped eNetherlands out and was coming for eNorway? If it hadn’t been for the Russians (who are not EDEN members) we would have been whiped as well. I’m waiting for EDEN to wake from her slumbers sleep and react. The minor nations in EDEN should be as important as the greater ones. eNetherlands is still under occupation from Poland, and EDEN is doing nothing. EDEN looks weak in the face of our opponents, why should they fear an alliance who can’t protect its members? Or why respect an alliance when they don’t retaliate to attacks against its members? There was no consequence for ePoland. EDEN should now start a program to liberate eNetherlands, recover its old reputation as a strong and fearful alliance that enations envy and want to be a part of. EDEN can’t continue to be passive in these situations, they have to retaliate by liberating eNetherland.

eNorway has a lot to thank EDEN for, they have given one of the smallest nations in eRepublik the “strength” to be actively part of the eWorld community. eNorway would never had such a powerful diplomatic strength if we didn’t have EDEN to back us up. eNorway would have been whiped and conquered, but thanks to EDEN and eNorwegian players, we’re still and independent nation with good relations to our neighboring countries.

EDEN is still a very strong alliance but it’s time for a change!
