Eden / Fortis may change their strategy

As I am not a professional strategist, should I make a misjudgement, please let me know...

As far as I can see, since Eden / Fortis succeeded to take over the initiative in the War, their strategy was the following:

1. Avoid if possible big face to face battles! In order to do so, do not let Russia (and the MPP-s behind them) attack USA! Just make unsignificant blocking attacks combined with RW-s.

2. Block Hungary with the help of Canadians!

3. Attack the weakest chain, France, which does not have a big army, has a messed-up economy, outragious tax levels (so a regular foreginer army would never stay there for long time) and France will slowly collapse.

4. Backed by 13 MPP-s bravely attack Indonesia!

5. Count on the fact that humans are greedy! If you cannot beat Portugal or Ukraine on battlefiled try to bribe them! Whisper softly in their ears. Promise and threat. Do not keep your promise and exagerate your threat potential!

In a short time this startegy is going to provide all the possible results. So what should come next on the overseas front?

USA:

a. May attack Indonesia, but this is not a cheap fun any more as only California may be attacked. Meanwhile Indonesia can do low cost blocking attacks from California whenever they wish.
b. May attack Russia. It never worked. We will see. If they do, they will have to face the mighty Indonesian and Serbian army as well.
c. May attack Hungary (expensive and technically it is also hard to do it)

Canada:

After they have bravely beaten the "Sick Man of Europe" (France), who lost all her overseas territories, it is nothing to be attacked any more. So they have following choices:

a. Make war with Iran (sooner or later they will have to do it anyway) and check out who is the stronger one. I would not do that, or not yet.
b. Attack Hungary, no MPP-s on any side. Hm. I would think twice.
c. Attack Russia. No MPP-s on any side. Won’t work.
d. Attack France in Europe and activate the MPP-s. Think twice!
e. Create confusion, count on Peace mistakes: start 5-6 attacks same time and 10 minutes before end of the battle try to tank down one of them. Quite expensive, but may work 1-2 times.

To conclude: Canada’s role on short term is nothing else, but do blocking attacks and help USA.

All in all for me it looks, that Eden / Fortis needs to come up with something new. What that could be?

1. Move the war to Europe. Gentleman, we are waiting for you on the battlefield!
2. After Portugal, Italy, Germany and Ukraine try to destabilise other Peace countries. They tried in the past Indonesia, Serbia, Russia, all of the Baltic states. Who could be next?

My concept is that Eden / Fortis will continue their sabotage actions, since it is much more cost effective and it suites much better to their character.

Therefore I kindly ask all political leaders to check once again the list of your congress candidates! I want to share with you my tactical advices – far from perfect, but enough for the beginning!


TO DO LIST FROM MONTAIGNE





1. Occasionally check everybody’s IP addresses on the mibbit channels! A foreign IP address should be at least a warning sign until situation gets cleared.

2. Ask from the people who candidate for the Congress to provide their mobile phone numbers and really check them! (SMS should be enough)

3. Check the congress guys personally! Who they are IRL? Where do they live? Which school did they attend? Do you have common IRL friends? Common school teachers? As in the more developed eREP countries roughly 0,1% of the population are EREP players (and maybe 1% of the relevant age group) it is a good chance to find common friends! IRL meetings like in Fruska Gora are great, just make sure,that you check all the other people as well!

4. I think any candidate with EP level above 20 may pass automaticly, but somebody at level 12 should be carefully tested by the party leaders before you let them candidate for congress seats.

5. Please mind, that any country’s congress could be TO-ed with only few hundred low level players, who have been registered in your countries just for this purpose! It is also possible to grow up 21 congress guys who were pretending themselves to be what they are not and make them join 4-5 different parties. Party TO is not at fashion any more, congress places from different parties will be TO-ed instead!
