Eden countries fall prey to PTO:s – Norway commits suicide.

First, I wish to explain the lack of articles during the past week. There has been no significant military advances lately, and by significant I mean battles which have a lasting outcome. It doesn’t offer anything new to you my readers if I report about losses in SA and how everything is the same 24 hours afterwards when the battle is closed. I had a pretty good article half way ready about USA-Eden relations but it became outdated when Max released a rain of s*it in the form of conversation logs.
I’ll try to write a new one about the future of the Brolliance and the possible invasion as there is so much bad blood and misthoughts around the issue, but it takes a lot of time to write as English is not my native language and the article will undoubtedly be quite long and time consuming to write.

Regions released in France, Finland

During the week the promise of the Finnish president about releasing Finnish regions before presidential elections came true as a simultaneous wave of RW😒 was launched in every single Finnish region expect Lapland, which was double whammed by Sweden and Norway to drain damage. Also despite the trying, a RW in Russian occupied Chinese region of Jilin failed, but Hungary had to move out significant amounts of soldiers to secure it against a furious effort from the United States.
The RW😒 in Finland failed excluding the battle of Western Finland, the most densely populated Finnish region. The wall stayed at solid numbers for the entire battle as an early tank rush drew the wall to -400k and Russia focused on Jilin instead of raising the wall in WF.
Finland proceeded to rebuild, and a hospital bought from the Bosnians was quickly erected, followed by another significant act from the Finnish congress, the declaration of war against Russia now when it was cheap.
The president stated in his final speech that more tries to free Finnish regions will be launched when they serve Eden the best, like when there is a need to block Russia or drain damage from them. Finland got hundreds of new citizens and the campaign has been highly popular by the Finnish population, so overall it can be considered as a success. However the loss of Lapland, a strategical region bordering Sweden, Norway and Russia, might hinder Eden as one blocker is absent when they move in to counter the very likely Phoenix-invasion of Norway.

In Western Europe, Spain and Poland are loosing the noose around France’s neck. The new President of Poland stated in his campaign speech that he will not pay too much attention towards the minor French and German regions now when the land bridge option is gone. This new stance is already being put in to practice as Spain didn’t effectively defend a series of RW😒 during the past week, resulting to the liberation of more French regions. I assume Phoenix will RW flood the remaining small French/German regions during the next big offensive from either side, and the regions will most likely be liberated as the French army has shown their skills on the battlefield and is most likely eager to get the job finished.

Poland and Spain will keep the high resource regions they came for in the first place. Rhone Alps, Aquitaine and Brandenburg & Berlin will continue to be under Allied occupation, and I’d keep Paris as well as it has a high concentration of companies.

Phoenix wins presidencies in Bosnia and Norway, preparing to invade Norway.

Now when dust settles after presidential elections, it comes as a big disappoitment for Eden to see that two loyal and good allies have their presidential posts captured by Phoenix inflitrators. In Bosnia, the Serbian candidate won by two votes.Yes, two (2). Serbian party controls enough of the congress to deny the impeachment, but not enough congressional seats to destroy the country by signing silly laws.
Croatia’s imminent presence and their 10+ MPP😒 against Serbia makes the threat of an attack from Serbia a relatively low one. Therefore I believe peace will last until the next congressional elections, where Serbia will push hard to seize enough of the congress to for example, declare war on Croatia and cancel out MPP😒 to give Serbia an easy task to annex the small nation if they wish.

The situation in Norway is much more drastical. As can be seen from this marvelous tool, a surge of votes at the end of the elections rose a seemingly harmless bloke in power, who however instantaneously after elected attacked UK and Russia, launching two very powerful MPP-lists which will lead to the inevitable destruction of Norway once again. If Phoenix fails to win, Eden is obliged to annex Norway like Finland once did to close the gigantic MPP-lists.
The Norwegian goon president also attacked Sweden’s original territories, deactivating all MPP😒 except Spain, and tied Sweden in to a 24h block by RW+attacking their possessions in Denmark.

Estonia attacked their neighbours in Latvia to create a war between them and Russia. After that they immidiately conquered Russian occupied Finnish regions to isolate Finland from blocking Russia and denying them the possibility to attack Norway. However this plan resulted in to a grand failure, as Estonia eagerly attacked the region of Oulu just seconds after a Finnish citizen started an RW there. This results for Russia to be tied up in to a 24h block. The exact same situation happened when Hungary was moving on the bridge through Italy.

Also the tiny region of Aland is behind the Finnish bottleneck region, so Finland would have the chance to block Russia even with the entire Eastern border swapped to Estonia. Estonia is much weaker than Russia, and already two RW😒 have been started in the occupied regions, and they might result in a victory, severely reducing Russia's chances to participate in to the invasion of Norway.

The main responsibility to carry out the operation lies on UK😒 shoulders now. Operation Valhalla, as they call it, will grant them High Oil if they manage to invade the region of Vestlandet. An attack is expected to occur before eRepublik daychange.

Day 2.

In Finland, Poland redeemed their lack of support in the first wave of Finnish RW😒, and repayed the favor by sending significant amounts of troops in to Estonia to liberate the regions of Southern Finland and Eastern Finland. Both regions were liberated by huge margins, and Finland now possesses half of their original regions.
The Finnish president didn't however block Russia, and due to this mistake Russia got the chance of attacking Nord-Norge and exposing Norway to a war on two fronts. There is no hope for Norway to save themselves, as they have only the Spanish MPP against all of Phoenix and Sweden who could be capable of blocking at least Russia, is constantly blocked by Denmark who are politicall captured by the Serbians.
