EDEN Conquers Liaoning, Deals Phoenix a Serious Blow

Day 761, 18:44 Published in USA USA by Lieutenant Scheisskopf

Most people are still torn as to whether we are in the middle of World War 3 (WW3) or a new World War 4 (WW4), but tonight showed me one more reason why this is a new war. In a battle which FORTIS/EDEN would have lost to PEACE this summer, we witnessed EDEN win a resounding victory in Liaoning in the final minutes against Phoenix. As I have written in my recent articles, the outcome of the battle in Liaoning was critical for both sides and the loser of the battle could not justify their loss. The victory for EDEN now opens up the route to Heilongjiang (Hello Kitty), and topples eIran's most valuable region; it also sends a warning to states looking to fight peripheral battles expecting to receive Phoenix's support. EDEN has shown an impressive victory, from their mobilization of military forces to the widespread civilian involvement, but the war is far from over and even greater challenges persist.

Liaoning Background
The suspension of eRussia's president was the opening of a lifetime for EDEN, and Phoenix members will say that EDEN was gifted a victory. eRussian soldiers still found their way to Liaoning, however, so 4epT's suspension may not have been as consequential on the actual battle. However, even with this break, the wall stood at nearly 700,000 with 10 minutes in the battle; to finish the battle with the wall at -300,000 shows that EDEN forces dealt 1 million more damage than Phoenix in the final 10 minutes and determined the outcome. The reason the wall was able to fall so quickly hinged on extensive EDEN collaboration and significant civilian involvement which would not have been possible in previous wars. The eUSA and her allies demonstrated a clarity of purpose and organization that has been unmatched but entirely welcome to behold. With this sort of teamwork, anything is possible for EDEN; without it, I could have been relegated to writing a different story today.

During WW3, I don't think this would have been possible. For months, the country has talked about mobilizing its numbers, and that day has come! The military may have won the battle, but the efforts of thousands of civilians cannot be overlooked and were critical in keeping the wall at a manageable level. For those who organized, armed, and motivated the populace, we owe you a debt of gratitude.

Other Events
The eUSA and EDEN compounded the victory at Liaoning with successful resistance wars (RW) on additional eIranian holdings of Chagang and Ryanggang, eNorth Korea. These regions are insignificant in terms of population and resources, but by removing eIran from there, the eIranians now have no chance at returning to Liaoning in the near future. Phoenix's occupation of eChina's resources may be permanently over if EDEN can successfully ouster eHungary from Heilongjiang (that is a BIG if). The only country that could challenge the northern portion of eChina would be eRussia, but any attack on these regions would activate mutual protection pacts (MPPs) with eChina's allies, which will soon include the eUSA after removing Phoenix from the rest of their regions.

Upcoming
By no means do I want to rain on our parade, EDEN, but the war is far from over. Phoenix has been dealt a significant blow and may take this loss personally. The fights for Heilongjiang and Karnataka are going to be fiercely contested as well, and Phoenix can still consider themselves successful if they stopped the eUSA and EDEN outside of Hello Kitty and then had the eRussian bear counterattack. Without question, though, EDEN is in the driver's seat in this war, but it is still important to note that one big battle can change momentum and the entire rhythm of the war.

For Now
But for now, eAmerica and EDEN, let us revel in a hard-fought victory. To Phoenix, I sincerely say good fight; your mobilization was impressive and as I previously noted, you admirably fought for your friends' behalf. You are very formidable foes and I admire your abilities from across the battlefield. Although, in the end, I am thrilled to have the Stars and Stripes fly over Liaoning and a bullseye now resting on the heads of Phoenix's other occupied territories. To all who made it possible, I salute you.

God Bless America, Hail EDEN, and HAIL VICTORY
