Day 1,015, 10:22 Published in Canada Canada by KyleDr

As promised our first issue of eCanada's Best. In this issue, we will be featuring TemujinBC. Recently Tem celebrated his eBirthday of one year! Congrats from all of us here at the eCanada Star. For those who don't know Tem has been an active member of eCanada for a long time. He is also the leader of the Crimson Canucks, one of this countries militia groups. They have fought beside the CAF and aided in many important battles in the past and many more to come. Without further ado, the first of many articles of eCanada's Best.

TemujinBC's Battle Profile:

KyleDr: How does it feel to be the top fighter of this great nation?

TemujinBC: Well, I wouldn't say I am the top fighter, only the one who spends the most 😃 Goldfinger still has me beat for overall damage potential, and there are several others who can outclass me as well, but it is pretty cool to see my name and the Crimson avatar as #1 for battle damage in Canada

KyleDr: Such humbleness 😛 would you say that you have benefited or been hindered by the switch to v2?

TemujinBC: That is tough to say, I suppose it is a little bit of both. In V1, I was just getting to the point where I was considered tank-worthy. In fact, I was partially funded for tanking missions (I received 40 gold, and had to put up 40 gold plus buy my own weapons). It wasn't a great deal for me financially, but since most of those battles I was going to tank in anyways, it did save me forty gold each time. In V2, timing and numbers are even more important it seems. The individual can only do so much, and while it certainly is beneficial to be strong, it is far better to have 10 nemesis units on the battlefield than one Veteran* tank. Overall, I would say V2 has benefitted me. In V1, I was hitting the wall for 550 damage with a Q5, but it was miles behind someone like Goldfinger who could do 800+ per hit. Now, the playing field is much more level, and if I were to go head to head against Goldfinger he would still be stronger, but I could defeat him quite often. It is good for people like me, but not so good for very old citizens who now find themselves not nearly as dominant.

KyleDr: It would appear that that is the case, how has it affected your very active and useful Crimson Canucks?

TemujinBC: The Crimsons Canucks have seen its share of turnover in V2. Many older players have quit the game, but we have seen many new citizens join the ranks, and several older citizens who enlisted. We've got a great mix of players, and I think we have seen some of the highest activity levels since V2 was implemented. You can regularly see 20-30 people in #crimson, and over the past three weeks with to coordinate strikes and make instant plans for maximum tile-flipping efficiency. In V1, it was good enough for us to supply our members with five weapons and tell them where to fight. Now, we cannot simply supply five weapons every couple of days, because weapons last so long. Those members who can be online during the critical times of battle will receive the extra weapons. V2 has helped the Crimsons in some ways, but hurt in others. We have lost some very strong players, but gained many other active ones

KyleDr: It has been pleasure, thank you for allowing us into your eLife for our readers to explore. Stay tuned for our next issue we will be sitting down with GoldFinger!
