eAustralia returns to Awesomeness

Possibly the most awesome newspaper in eRepublik not to have gotten an Media Mogul medal! Yes, that's an obvious hint, motherfrackers.

So, you're probably thinking this is yet another lame attempt at votes/subs by some nooby citizen who is cashing on the fact there is something really obvious to mention - the fact we've been liberated, entirely.

Wrong. Open your mind's labia for an absolute frackfest of awesome.

Why & how we've been liberated

Yeh, kind of obvious... but it goes far deeper. We are valued (oh yes, we are) members of an international alliance that goes by the name of EDEN.

We didn't see every single soldier of EDEN here, fighting for us. In fact, far from it. What I've noticed is that many of us fail to realise battles are raging between EDEN and PHOENIX, 24/7, in multiple places. The best we can ask for at all times is to at least get significant support, given the opposition we face.

Now I'm sure many of you blew all your gold in this campaign - fact is, you didn't need to. In the first round of campaigns, we only lost NT, which served as a good diversionary war whilst we completely dominated the other states and gained them all, EASILY.

Even now, we grabbed NT in a second round of campaign, and it's not like we faced massive opposition to take it.

It was easy. Too easy. More on that later, now the thank-you's...

USA
You are our most awesome of ePals. Can I dare say our relations are at an all-time high? Is this another step is bringing our nations closer together? I would think so. Even our nation's miliaries fight closer together than ever, and I for one love that fact.

China
China? Oh yes, China... at critical points when the Indonesians hit hard in SA, Qld and NSW... BAM! The Chinese were there. This act will not be forgotten, brothers \o/

Canada
Yep... saw quite a few Canuckians there too - you made an old 2x Canadian Beta CP very proud.

EDEN
Whilst not the biggest EDEN turnout we've seen, it don't matter. You've supported us for years, and we'll continue to do our part. Also, best of luck in the big campaigns currently taking place overseas.

Individuals
Larni - It's official. You are now "Miss Awesome".

Crusadercarl - You are the best closet Australian we could hope for.

Aussie Bloke - Your funding and epic display of fighting in SA will be remembered through the eAges!

Colin Lantrip - Not many people give me eEnvy... consider yourself lucky. Your fighting was utterly astounding and was seriously a major factor in our win.

srg91, Hinokai, Majester & Mack Craft - you kept us going and hitting at all hours. It's hard, often-thankless work, but not this time.

Everyone who contributed - it really, really matters. Wars are generally won with a combination of big hitters and big numbers. We need you all, move to eAustralia and keep fighting the good fight!

We only won the battle
... in a long, long war between ourselves and the appendaged-envy of Indonesia.

They were indeed busy fighting on other fronts - we got lucky by hitting at an ideal time. But mark my words...

So what do we do? We support eAustralia in every way possible. If you can, move there, work there, vote, work, train, fight. Be active, even if it's just on eRepublik and not on IRC or the forums. We need a show of strength and it cannot be done alone by the small core of die-hard players.

If there's one thing I temporarily accomplished whilst serving eAustralia, it was unifying the nation. Yeah, it sounds weird, coming from someone who is known to flaunt the ego a little... but deep down I know when to shut the hell up, and get along with people I normally wouldn't, for a greater good.

That greater good is keeping our nation alive, unified both in landmass, and culturally. We're all here for eAustralia first and foremost, so let's show that once again.

We won the battle, now lets win the war, for eAustralia!
