CTW - S17 - July 20th, 2012



That’s right, I am running again after a decently successful campaign last time when I came in second. So e5anderm for Congress in Maine! Lets do this!


I know I can sometimes write novels (though it appears a lot of you enjoy reading them) but if you want a tl;dr version scroll down to the hot chicks, get hypnotized for 5 minutes with the chick with a hoola hoop and then scroll down just a bit further for the short version.


I will be running for Congress in the Great State of Maine this month. Voting is on Wednesday, July 25th!



Although Maine may be a smaller state both in actual size (a little over 35,000 sq miles) as well as people population (at just over 1.3 million people) it’s one of the most beautiful.

Known for its amazing coastlines, lobsters and surprisingly, Blueberries (Maine is the #1 exporter of Blueberries) Maine also has several cities that serve as main ports along the east coast of America.

In game, Maine is a strategic state for eUS since its a link between mainland North America and Ireland/Britain our allies in France (who have taken over most of Britian along with our allies in Germany!). Is also is connected to 3 Canadian regions, so if this stupid skirmish between eUS and eCanada doesn’t get resolved then Maine might be a state that could be attacked.


However, I am hopeful that our current government will wake up and perhaps with a new congress coming in on the 26th we might be able to sit down at the big boys table and get this shit sorted out. That way the State I hope to win is not at risk of being attacked and eUS and our allies in Canada can go back to being good friends and concentrate on helping our other allies that really need help.

Right now with our time and energy being put into this skirmish with Canada our allies in Turkey, Australia, Cyprus, France, Germany and a couple other places are sort of struggling without our full support. I will do everything I can to get things back where they need to be, helping our allies instead of fighting in a stupid pissing contest with Canada.


With the recent addition of Rockets being introduced into the game, the market has seen certain things go up (weapons and weapons raw materials) while other things continue their slow decline (food and food raw materials. Gold has jumped around a bit but seems to have settled somewhere between 1900 and 2000 USD per 1 gold. So things aren’t terrible, but they aren’t that good either.

The current policies of the government work pretty well, and I don’t really have any plans to try and change them (other people want to raise the minimum wage which will destroy MU communes) but we as a country need to be prepared for the upcoming changes to the economic module. When the War Module was changed way back when we were told they are working on a change to the economic module, we are still waiting for it.

However, when the war module came out, eUS lagged behind other countries in figuring out how to adapt to it and adjust as a country. We can not do that with the upcoming economic module, and I will do everything I can to make sure that the government has a program set in place to analyze and quickly determine the best new tactics in a new economic module and get the word out to the people ASAP.



I am running under the Federalist Party like last month, the longest standing top 5 party in the country, full of knowledgeable players and a heck of a lot of old timers. It’s the only party I have ever been a part of and I have really enjoyed it (so join the Feds! and see for yourself) and through a little bit of work I have climbed up into a leadership position within the Feds for the past two months.

With Stewy winning the last election for the Feds, I have stepped in to take the Political Department Director position from him and give him more time to work on other PP stuff. I thank the Feds for giving me a chance, letting me show what I can do and putting their trust in me. I will not let them down and the Feds will be a more powerful political player in eUS. We are coming back, so get on the bandwagon.



You may be wondering who the hell is this e5anderm guy, so, well, here is a little bit about me! I started this game in late January, so I may not be the most experienced player out there but I am a very smart guy and have picked this game up very quickly.

I started off as just a member in the Fed Party as well as the EZC MU (mainly because my friend asked me to join) but have quickly climbed up into the leadership of both the Feds and EZC. I was part of a small team of people that created new EZC and EZCP uniforms, which led to some commissioned work for some other MU’s. I am a former captain (decided against being a captain again cause the PD stuff takes up a lot of my time) and am currently part of the leadership that runs EZC. Though I did not come up with the original idea I have basically been given full control of and ran the first ever EZC War Games(the link is the full results, check my newspaper archives for other updates), and will be running another War Games in early August.

And I explained a little bit about my Fed history already, but so far I am enjoying running the PD office (as much work as it takes to run it...) and may one day decide to run for the Federalist Party President position.

So on Wednesday July 25th, Vote for e5anderm in Maine!
