Join the new world

So part two of the evil trilogy and this one will focus on my policies with my Cabinet to be revealed just before the election, my policies are set out but are not cast iron, and by that I mean I will be flexible when situations arise.




Well I am proud of my Involvement in the Joey development Scheme and I see no reason to change the Department, we still have a very large surplus and an aim with helping young players with free gold for training ground updates. But let’s be honest, too many senior figures sit back and no longer become involved...now that is not a criticism as the majority have served their time but we need to really bring forth new blood in Government. Previously Deputies were just appointed and not used, I hope to change this by encouraging large Departments with Deputies involved in the thought process and in the workings of Government. As I said in my last article they will be included in Departmental PM’s and we shall use this month to educate and mould them and help them onto their path to becoming tomorrow's leaders. They can do as little or as much as they like but at least they are seeing a completely functioning Department and the thought process behind it. How is this different to how it currently runs now on the forums? Well i have noticed people communicate via In-Game more and log on more as well and communication is the key to education.




Again I have stated my intentions - To increase the Department so we have four Ministers who can produce one article each per week...this will mean 3-4 articles per week and each one updated daily. Each article will have three priority battles so there will always be a choice if one or two of the other battles ends early or is no longer winnable. Our citizens will be the most informed in this game and along with a Command structure PM set up In-game our Top MU’s will now be able to work with Government and help direct damage where it is most needed.

Due to a private donation by former CP Cyber.Casper of 100,000AUD will see the ADF have a budget of 70,000AUD this month, however as this gesture is so generous I plan on carrying it over to two months of 50,000AUD each month, as well as supplying the MU with it’s usual budget of 20,000AUD...hence the total sum, and this will be the budget for the next two months. Finally we will be able to supply Q7 tanks again in this months battles. The donation was initially 160,000AUD and for whatever we preferred but as our hearts were in JDS we chose that, however as we plan a month of supply and wars then we thought that it would be better put to use fighting as the JDS currently has about 6 months in supplies remaining still.

I will also look to put aside a budget for ourselves to start RW’s of OUR choosing, this will also be used in coordination strikes with other allies that I shall be contacting as a priority. As with last month I will also be looking to start a team of active and dedicated Aussies to help with setting up RW’s when and where needed, whether that be with Government funding or personal financing. I intend not to sign ANY NAP’s and If I am approached then I will hold a full referendum with the people of Australia to discuss and vote on the issue.

MPP’s - Well we shall be looking to slightly trim this months but I plan on keeping between 8-9 for now and all Asgard, Asteria and LETO nations.

I shall also look to open a couple of ‘Call to Arms’ where we distribute Q7 tanks to all Aussie fighters in battles of Importance that will coincide with the ADF campaign orders (discussed below also).






Which bring us to...Alliances. Well I make no secret that I have been speaking to LETO/Asteria and I want us involved. We did originally apply to Sirius/Aurora due to the NAP with Chile, it was the only rational choice especially with our Northern Territories of Indonesia eagerly watching. For now I shall allow them Java and Western Australia as a gesture of potential friendship but I was told today that a vote for our membership to LETO was rejected. So we’ll look to strengthen ties to our new friends in Asgard and see what happens, It's now all systems go. It seems the top four alliances don't want us as member and I wish they would be honest and explain why at the start.




Well I am looking at the same budget as last month and I know the Minister In charge has some Interesting ideas about promoting writing competitions with some very generous rewards. This we hope will keep a few of you writing which in turn is good for an active community. There will be a few Lottery draws as well. We willl also see some competitions like Kitten Cannon brought back so we can get some respite from the doom and gloom of being neighbours with the Northern Australian colonies of Indonesia.




Well I will hold a weekly Questions and Answers article working alongside the forum thread ‘’Ask your Government’’ so people without access to the forums or IRC can approach myself with questions of their choosing. I want people to connect with the Government and see we are open and approachable and this will be just the start.

As stated, I will not work with an out of game self appointed and unelected ‘’senate’’ who can override important decisions, but instead with a council of advisors as well as my Cabinet. The advisors will be experienced heads from different parties and different backgrounds who I will be able to bounce ideas off. Make no bones about it I shall have the final say but I am no dictator, as was proved this month when senate operated without consulting Cabinet, and as they were the only elected officials running the country I bowed to their proposals. As I said in a previous article if we get senate on the 25th then I shall end the term in full cooperation with them to help build for the following term, normal service shall be resumed so to speak. If the newly elected senate does return then I look forward to working with them even if they believe I should be impeached for bypassing forum rules that overruled In-game democracy and game mechanics.






Well as of yet nobody is Interested in the MoF so myself and Claire will do it, we have experience with gdocs for JDS so we’ll see what happens. I’ll also be keeping a regular log on the forums including all ins and outs via screenshots in the same thread so everything will be transparent.

The JDS needs no budget obviously but as stated above the defence budget will increase slightly so we will be fighting on an even level with our foes, We are also sitting on 30,000AUD in Combat Orders already in the ADF that will be used at a time where their use will be of the most value for Australia.

As with last month the DoEE will be handed a 20,000AUD budget to keep you lot entertained and amused, I hope you at least attempt to try to enter what the hard working Guys in that Department are planning...the silent majority are doing nothing to help eAustralia at this difficult time so step up people as the odd comment and word of encouragement costs nothing.

We are sitting on a huge amount of gold thanks to the National Shield tournament and although I do plan on using 170,000AUD worked out as follows -

20,000AUD - ADF
80,000AUD - MPP’s
20,000AUD - MoEE
30,000AUD - RW’s
20,000AUD - Misc

Misc will include a couple of food drives and the occasional Call to Arms articles launched by the DoD in battles that will compliment the ADF campaign orders.

Make no mistake this will be a month of war.




I shall be involved in PM’s with Cabinet, each individual Department, council of advisors and the nations MU’s. I will be pressing for each Department to be media active so the people know exactly what is happening in Australia, this will work in tandem with the usual forum threads and IRC. this month the key word is ‘Communication’ because I want as many as possible to become involved in decisions and discussions.
