Draak for POTUS: Old School in a New Age

Greetings my dear readers, today I received fantastic news from the folks at the Bastards of Liberty Party that I had been nominated to be their candidate for CP this election. I am trilled by this announcement, as this will be my first run at the CP seat. Despite the very long odds, I want to give my best effort in this election.



The odds are long, but I want to give it a shot

As far as credentials go, I have served as Vice President, Secretary of State, and Secretary of Media. Though I have just recently come back to the game, I have served in several cabinets and I understand what it takes to get the job done. By electing me, you will get someone with experience, and someone who is dedicated, driven, and a professional.

I cannot promise you the wipe of an enemy nation, or some great economic revival, but what I can promise you is an interesting term. Remember Frost's Revolution, or Jewitt's Three Pillar Campaign? When was the last time you actually had some real fun in the game? My guess is for a lot of you it has been a while. Will I be the best President, maybe not, but will it be fun and interesting? You can bet your ass it will. As President, you will hear directly from me, I will be active in publishing in the media something that has been lacking these past few CP terms.

In recent months, it seems to me that the CP has been somewhat of a ghost. You elect him, he publishes an article thanking you, and then you will be lucky to hear from him again. The recent months have been ruled by an elitist system with very little concern for the common player. As President, I aim to change this. I want to be open to you the people, I want to hear your ideas, your concerns, your anger. I then want to fix those problems that exist, or implement your ideas. I not only want to be elected, but I want to serve those who elected me not some elitist hierarchy or my cabinet buddies.

In closing, what you will get by electing me President is someone who is honest, open, and has a great desire to serve the players of this nation. As President, I want to make this a game again, to make it fun, to make it something you want to log onto everyday. Not something you log onto out of habit, or solely to build up your stats. An old school President has been lacking for sometime. Someone who will communicate directly to the people through the media, someone who will listen, someone who will come up with fun ideas and goals for the nation, and well by damn I may just be that man.
