Chapter 6:


Moving in deeper, the generals, plus the CO and the three unknowns walked through another door, which led to another hallway. It had a silvery look in it. Very modern-like. It looked as modern as the sci-fi movies you see in the cinemas, maybe even more. It was wider and has more doors that led to more rooms. And what’s more is that people we’re in it.

“Those are the Men in Black.”, Then Topy smiled.

NICA. The National Intelligence Agency. It was literally a secret agency under the Defense Department. And only a few people in the country ever entered their secret halls. Apparently, Purge and EZEX we’re one of those.

“Ok. Answer me, Topz. Why are these people waving at you?”, Purge asked.

Apparently, Topy felt the seriousness of the question. His friend asked, no, demanded for an answer. “Director?”

“I guess there is no way to hide it. Proceed with answering his question.”, The director’s reply was quick.

“Ok, Purge.” Topy, answered. “I’m an agent for this agency.”

“Hah!”, Purge replied. “I have a spy friend. And I never knew about it. Guess it should be, though. Haha. What was I thinking? A the spy-ness of a spy has to be secret...”

“Don’t worry, man. I’m not stalking, or collecting data on you...”

“I know, I know...”

“Gentlemen, and ‘musician’ please proceed here”, the General was a bit rough as he pronounced the ‘musician’ word. “Welcome to the NICA briefing room.

“Thanks, general...”, Purge emphasized the word ‘general’, as well. There was still some tension between the two.

“Saladin and Purge, please stop that.”, Divinitywolf’s voice suddenly became serious, calm and professional. “You three. EZEX Lacroa, purge0809 and Topy XYZ. You know what has brought you here?”

He flashed a picture of a man, an old man to be exact. With a long beard.

“The d*mned Guru Varnish.”, EZEX replied.

“Exactly. The main reason why you are here is because of this old fart. Better thank him for that.”

“What did he do to us?”, purge asked.

“Oh. Seems you don’t remember... Hahaha...”, General Saladin23 said.

“General, I’ll take it from here, please.”, Divinitywolf cut the general, thinking that his words might cause another mishap in the briefing room. “You three have been the first whistleblowers of the SdGV PTO plan in the Philippines. You have done great information-seeking work and because of that, have informed everyone in advance about that coming PTO, even though we did not stop them from having a large part of the Congress, you did a good job, still. And for those accomplishments, we need your help, once again. The only question left unasked is...
