Guys and Gals everyone needs to just step back and take just 5 mins to just think and take stock of everything.
Rows in the army now and rows in the government mind you what is a government that doesn’t have a few rows, but instead of rowing why not try debating and for once listen to each other and comprehend what you are each saying to one and all.
May I take this moment to just offer a little advice and maybe a compromise between both sides?
First and foremost a nation’s first role is the protection of its own borders even at the expense of its allies, because in truth if a nation can not protect its own borders then the signal that sends to the world is one of weakness.
I am not disputing the fact that London should be fortified, but there is fortification and overkill with ones resources.
London is now more that ready with its fortification and now is the time to regain our lands as well as protecting the ones that are held already.
You may ask why haven’t I moved to London now that my area of Yorkshire and Humberside is within the boundaries of Canada, the simply reason is what I see you all doing is having the same out look as Nero and forgetting what running a nation is all about.
I also agree that eUK should help it’s allies but not to the extent of losing it’s own lands, its own lands most and always should come first, the foundation of a solid defense of ones borders if paramount to the expansion of those borders.
What I am trying to say is that if no one is attacking eUK or if eUK isn’t attacking anyone then sure go help our allies but make sure eUK is safe first, dragging everyone into London at this stage is nothing more than sending a signal to our foes that we are running scared, but if everyone is supplied with a moving ticket for a last minute retreat should London be attacked there is really not much need for more players to be pulled into that region.
And as to our attacks from what I can see from our treasury there will be non ad there is no gold in there, as it’s squandered and used to buy currency which is just left sitting there doing nothing much, keeping gold reserves at a high like other nations is also a must for any nation to expand and flourish.
Finally please please look at the borders as maternities where a nations birth rate is replenished and expanded, look at them as losing 5% of a nations birth rate lost should that area be taken and 5% gained should that area be won by eUK, as each new player means more tax and revenue for one and all, but also losing that area means less tax and revenue.
Everyone needs to look at the bigger picture of the nation rather than that of a singular despot region.

Couldn't be more wrong. The point of the exercise to is to pull as many people as possible into London, because the enemy has to pay more GOLD in order to launch an attack at London. Even if we drag a hundred semi-active people, the costs of an attack rise, and we want to drain the enemy's resources, since London is the only region worth defending game-wise.

You’re still not seeing the bigger picture here and in a game such as this R/L strategy does have a lot of bearing in mind.
Plus buy pulling everyone into London this early is giving the buffering border lands away cheaply.
Stop being so narrow minded and focusing on the here and now but focus on the distant future and the expansion of our nation.
London does not need any more players to move to it, it has more than enough now, the protection of our lands is paramount, because with out them eUK will soon become a singular Nation, like the real life principality Luxemburg, that has no real power in the world other than that of financial and even that is fading these days.
Lastly the Game of Real Life is a hell of a lot harder than this one as you would also have riots, strikes and civil unrest to contend with, heck if ever what was happening in game to our nation now was to happen in real life, the government would be running to the hills as the populace clambers for their blood and they’d have the backing of the army as well lol.
The reason the Fortress London strategy is used is because *gasp* it works. It saved us from being wiped out by the US and forced the Canuks to think twice about trying to complete their last invasion.
Spreading our meagre population throughout the country adds minimal effectiveness to buffer regions. Those in charge have learned this through experience.
Also, the people still in other regions are mostly either inactives or people who can't/won't follow instructions.
TBH, we see articles like this all the time, and they're usually all dumb.
Leave R/L ideas behind when you enter eRep. They've been tried and they don't work.

Lol Obviously you don’t play MMO’s that much where a cash option is there and with the new war format and the 1 gold instakill button there lol even a level 1 can hit it and take out the number one player.
Agreed the points won’t be much but they all add up and from my time of MMO’s the need to win at any cost to some players is just that, as some will think nothing of adding 3k of gold for a battle such as London to ensure the win.
The addition of the Instakill button has thrown a new dimension to the game so why give them cheap wins up to London make them pay all the way to it.
But Meh I’ll stick in Yorkshire and Humberside and wait to see if we need a new capital in the next few weeks.
Eno Live a while about a week to a month before i joined the eUk was almost wiped out because the people then were spreaded out in the country so everyone moved to London to make the cost of attack on that region higher and it was the only one with a hospital and a defence system and because of that the eUk resisted and won all its regions back eventually we will do the same.
Benedict White your officially an ass clown and an idiot...the only reason we did not complete the taking of London is because your cowardly CP fell in love with the retreat button....learn the history and the facts before you flap your trap!
