Don't Call it a Comeback (Plus Proposal)

Day 1,225, 20:58 Published in USA USA by Took Lowind

Hello e-Americans. I'm Took Lowind. The vast majority probably have no idea who I am, and I don't blame any of you. I'm an old beta player who checks in on the game semi-regularly because I enjoy seeing what is going on in the game. Recently, I decided to get back involved in playing the game and now I'm going to begin playing by doing what I do best, writing articles. I hope all of you enjoy my article. Thank for reading!

A proposal

I'm confused. I honestly have no idea what is going on in the game right now. When I go to IRC, I don't recognize anyone there. I have no idea how or what to write on the forums and I have no idea on how to get back involved in the game. Getting involved in the game is rather difficult starting out and it's hard for me to get back involved also.

{Note to new players: This page has a variety of very useful links on how to play the game. I highly suggest reading them- http://eusaforums.com/forum/index.php/topic,214.0.html}

An aspect that I think is important to this game that I think is important to new people (and returning players) is a knowledge of current events. While the media fills a very important role in trying to learn current events, the media movies very quickly, and it is sometimes difficult to find very well written news articles. This is why I would like to propose a news archive (on either the e-usa forum or on a separate page). If an archive already exists, I apologize for my ignorance. I feel like a news archive of great articles is important for two reasons. One, I feel like saving news articles is a great way in preserving our national history and as a history buff, old news articles would be an interesting and fun read. Two, it is a great way in educating new players in current events. I feel like a citizen can really make a big impact if they not only know how to play the game but also know what is going on. Ultimately, I'd love to see the e-US government try and preserve our history.

I'd really love to write about more, but I still don't have a very strong knowledge in current events and hopefully I'll get knowledge in that area soon. I hope everyone enjoyed my article and I hope everyone is interested in finding ways to preserve our past and present. Thanks for reading!

Also....

I'd like to welcome my friends Evan Bayh, Anti Change and Grimp back to eRepublk. If you are a new citizen or just a citizen looking to get involved, I'd highly suggest joining their party American Freedom Fighters. I'm confident that it will be a relevant party soon. Evan, Anti Change and Grimp have a history of successful party building. Each were responsible for the founding and maintaining of the AAP for the first few months of its existence. If you join, it definitely should be a fun and always interesting experience.
