Greetings eAustralia.
Well we are now just 1 week into our current government term. However as MoF, I would like to let you know the current state of our government finances and then I will aim to keep you up to date with weekly updates (unless something dramatic happens).
Current Budget
Well after a week in the role, I have manage to redo the passwords on all the Australian owned Orgs (non rented ones) and Government Orgs. After this, I collected the data into a spreadsheet, so it can be passed onto the next government. But also I collected the data and started to keep a daily track of the money in these Orgs. This spread sheet is accessible by Brigidd and myself. I have asked some others in the Australian community if they want to have 'viewing rights', but I have not heard back from them.
Next week, if I can work it out, I will make the document viewable to the public and post the link privately if any wants it. Also I will be aiming in the next update to go full graphics with the budgets (wow you with images rather then bore you with text).
Org's Gold and CC:
Australia currently has:
23 Orgs of which:
1 is dead (from my understanding it was used for evil and not good)
4 Orgs which are donated to two different groups (1 to NEBULA, 2 to the ADF, 1 to JDS)
6 Orgs of which are rented out (5 are rented at 10g a month (some have a name change extra, 1 has a separate rental deal)
8 Orgs of which are available to rent (we are going through some offers now for them, but they need to be approved by congress)
5 Orgs of which are used for Government departments.
From these, the total Australian gold and cc which are held in these Orgs is:
87.95 Gold and $4,715.17 CC. These amounts will change soon, both via endorsements and rent being paid for the rented out Orgs (due on the 15th).
Gov Gold and CC:
Currently as of writing this article, the government has reserves of:
40.04 Gold and $32,099.77 CC this figure will fluctuate over the term of CPship as taxes come in, region rent payments are received and as we renew MPP's.
Australian Region Taxes:
For the current CPship, Australia has generated $11,463.47 CC from start of CPship till the end of eRep day 2,789. This might lead you to ask about any planned tax changes. I will not be bringing up any tax changes, however if someone in Congress brings it forward, we will debate it. The reason I do not want to raise taxes is, a) I don't see a giant need too, yes we might make more money, but we don't need to be the richest country in the eWorld when we cant trust each other at this stage and b) I want to try and bring the country steady and along a good path before we tinker too much.
Missing Funds
I have been looking into this and contacting people daily. And too be 100% honest, I have nothing much more to ad. I have asked everyone on the Australian side (which there is about 5 or so people who had access at 1 point or another in time) and I have asked the Monte side. It is now up to the Admins to get back to the people on the Monte side (we rented the Org from them), plus I have asked a friend who knows some Admins.
I know this is not the answer that you all want to hear, but it is the sad truth of it all. We are at the mercy of the Admins and others. And even with that, we can not rush them or force them to look into the missing eMoney. I know for one, I will continue to harass people until I get a response, but I will not publicly name names until I am 100% sure I know that they had something either to do with it or with trying to stall the investigation.
Rest assure, that it sucks that we have had money go missing, this unfortunately is almost a daily occurrence in this game. A game that I try and treat the way I would do real life. But the sad fact is, just like RL, there are people here who will rob, cheat, lie and steal to get ahead in life.

Why does the spreadsheet not go into secret senate of the forums?
Seems as though lately in this game people who hold these sheets only give viewing rights to people who don't care and don't want to know and once the main person leaves/moves in/out of game all the records have vanished. Bring back open transparency and accountability
Guag, I have all the spreadsheets. In the next few days once everything else has settled down, I will put the link and/or screen shot into the forums.
I would try to play on the insistence, asking the CP of eMonte to insist on having information on the culprit, using similar situations where admin have sent this information to the CP.
I know that you trust eMonte, but for each ticket they sent, ask for SS. No need to make it public, but be sure that no one is bluffing here.

Sure. I don't want to insinuate anything. I only say that the previous similar events enable us to receive the same treatment by admin. It would seem strange to close the research with a response like: the admin does not tell us anything. It means that those who can ask info, for some reason, has not pushed hard on the issue.
Sometimes admin reply to me in few hours, and I know that CP have high priority with this. It is strange to have no answer today, after one week since the request..
I have not closed the issue, I am waiting on response.
The admins here dont respond in a few hours, in my past terms, I have asked questions and waited for a week for a response.
