Do You Believe in Miracles? Draak for POTUS

Dear Friends,

It is the final countdown, the final stand, last call, or whatever you choose to call it. In a few hours of me writing this, you all will head to the polls to decide who will become the next President of this nation, and the first President of 2012. The odds are extremely long for me, I know this, you know this, but my question to you America is this: Do you believe in miracles?



When you go to cast your vote tomorrow, you will likely open one of three doors. Behind door one, lies the incumbent Oblige. When voting for him, you already know what you will get as you have observed him for the last month.You have read his campaign articles, everything is in the open, there is little intrigue or surprise. Those who want their eLife to stay exactly the same will vote for Oblige. Behind door two, lies Pizza the Hut II. By now you have already formed your opinions about him, whether good or bad. By electing Pizza, you also know exactly what you will get. Conservative rhetoric, a lot of real life bs brought into the game, and someone who has not shown the ability to work real well with others.

Behind door three, lies me Sir Gulden Draak, mysterious, intriguing, and interesting. Those voting for me tomorrow, will most likely be voting on potential. They will be voting for someone to relieve them of the boredom that they face, someone who can get them to log onto the game everyday knowing that potentially something exciting can happen. When was the last time you where a part of something fun? When was the last time you honestly got excited about the game? We are after all playing a game, lets open up, lets explore new areas we never have before, though we may fail by damn we will at least have some fun.



Vote for something interesting to happen

As Oblige stated in his last campaign article: "A lot of players like to speak of the glory days of V1 and how much better everything was back then. This is our chance to achieve those same levels of glory. And we can do it together." I know V1, I was there. I remember what it was like to have a meta game, to have a community, to have fun. By voting me tomorrow, that is what you will be voting for, the potential to return to an interesting game. Will you answer the call? Will you cower down and follow the same old status quo, or will you rise up and do something interesting? I am here, I am now, my cards have yet to be revealed. Vote for me tomorrow, and for f***'s sake lets have a little fun up in here.
