Do we really need this training war with eNZ?

Day 1,338, 13:12 Published in Australia Australia by H.Nelson

Let me just sum up some facts for you in connection with the ongoing training war between eAustralia and eNew Zealand. To begin with, I'd like to state that I myself was one of those supporting this training war and voted in favour of starting it in the Senate but now it has become more than obvious that it was a bad idea.

Let's see the reasons why.

¤ Fact #1

Kiwis and their allies are winning every single battle despite official orders telling them not to fight against eAustralia. In the meantime, eAustralia has hardly won one or two mini battles out of the many dozens so far.

¤ Fact #2

The last time eAustralia proposed an alliance to increase our stack of MPP's in order to be able to somewhat balance the situation was an embarrassing 7 days ago.
An alliance with the mighty Chileans.

¤ Fact #3

eAustralia is yet to gain initiative in this training war, which would at least provide some fun but taking Fact #1 and Fact #2 into account this is highly unlikely.

¤ Fact #4

RW'ing back our lost states costs 10,000 AUD each time, which is a waste of our financial resources since the 5 gold reward for the Resistance Hero medal only makes up 2,500 AUD.
Not to mention the additional costs of supplies on the aggregate level.

¤ Fact #5

The loss of production bonuses and tax revenue due to one of our states (e.g. NSW most recently) being occupied for at least 24 hours virtually cancels out all natural enemy bonuses gained.

¤ Fact #6

As Senate elections are nearing we are currently losing and taking back our states in a rather random fashion. This time last month we saw eIndonesia messing around with our regions; the last thing we need is this uncertainty to reoccur at the upcoming elections.

¤ Fact #7

If we possess fewer states on the 25th there will be fewer Senators elected, which results in less gold rewards collected, which leads to less personal resources available for training, investment and purchasing purposes. An overall loss in our economy.
Note, an additional 10 Senators elected equals to 10×5 = 50 gold revenue per month, much better than the current offer from eNZ for renting out Tasmania.

¤ Fact #8

The icing on the cake is the fact that all damage put in a training battle goes to waste when we might as well support our allies. Remember, they are the ones that save our ass regularly.

Now I'd like to ask, is it worth?

In other words, do we need this training war with eNZ at all? Wouldn't it be a better idea to just fight for our allies through MPP's and have a more or less stable economic and political environment?

Sincerely,

13-time Senator for Queensland
Commander of the Order of Australia
