Disgusted by the hypocrisy in power

Day 1,527, 21:36 Published in Australia Australia by Lord TJ

An in-game post based on discussion on the 'forum' (such as it is). Here's the backdrop. Binda's on the hunt for James Rellori because JR was vote buying. During the debate, JR popped the Senate's fun and opened up the discussion in the public gallery. That's when it turned into a REAL debate.

However, when other players were called out from the GGP/AI/APP political establishment for doing the same thing, the Hon. Senator Lanyislost did her usual and hid behind parliamentary privilege to make besmirching remarks on outgoing Hon. Senators in the ANP whose complaints have previously gone unanswered about forum registration, yet she continues on a tirade of false accusations.

The big bang kicks in when members of her own party, some of whom have been inactive for a long time in mainstream eAus life, have miraculously brought home the bacon. So all in all there's plenty of criticism to go around - except this time the ANP are in the clear despite other parties known for suspicious activities are bringing in votes in staggering numbers.

It was also noted that the Hon. Deputy Prime Minister and GGP Senator Binda33 wanted to change the focus of the debate faster than the speed of lightning. Ironic. Now to my reply.

James goofed and he's an idiot for getting caught.

But let's be real here - he's not the only one. I don't notice the Honourable Deputy Prime Minister bringing light to the issue as having a mass effect on the bribery occurring in the political process. I hear no cry or even a pip for a full Senate enquiry or even the usual half-baked measures coming from this place. Silence abounds.

The only thing worse than someone getting sprung for votes is the hypocrisy of a political leader, and indeed any leader in the eAustralian political establishment, that simply refuses to go after all. Just today the former Commander of Australia's largest MU the KnightHawks Henry the 8th offered to bribe Brazilians for his vote, and according to new information the MU has now blockaded members from outside parties making it fully aligned with the process, therefore making the KnightHawks Military Council guilty by the faux pas since he still bears the uniform.

I see nothing from srg calling for his head and he's a KH. I'm not tackling him as PM, rather as a KH MU member and not standing up on principle.

Again, the same, typical political ploys from the political elite in the GGP/APP who are not being real.

If you want to outlaw vote buying and be genuine in doing so - then be fair dinkum. Don't just go after one player for political gain. Rellori has given me the sh*ts for as long as I can remember but I'll stand up for any player who's being targeted by the establishment.

What's worse is this debate kicked off in the Senate chamber while parliament is prorogued for an election. When a poll is on - you're seat warmers. How dare the Senate even propose partisan political action when the session has effectively ended. Want more? This should have been in the public gallery at the very least so it could be debated in the light of day with the Senators-elect and other citizens. Everyone has a stake in this.

/waits for the trolls about stopwatch governance

If candidates lose, they lose. This is legislating political extortion to solve bribery. Like the fox guarding the hen house.
My 2 cents (ok 5 cents)
