Acum ca am cernut cititorii printr-un titlu de nisa am sa dezvalui abonatilor mei fideli scopul acestui articol. Desi nu mai reprezinta o performanta uluitoare, am vazut in presa romaneasca articole prin care jucatorii anuntau trecerea cate unui soldat la un anumit rang militar. Astfel anunt si eu ca pe data de 27 Decembrie 2012 am trecut si eu in randul lumii si am atins rangul de zeu al razboiului.
Cu aceasta ocazie m-am gandit sa relatez cateva fapte din cariera mea militara de pana acum, alaturi de parerile altor persoane care si-au aratat bunavointa de a imi/ne impartasi cateva cuvinte despre unitatile militare din care am facut parte. Publicarea acestui articol a intarziat pana in 2013 deoarece a durat cateva zile pana sa strang parerile unor jucatori ce inca mai joaca si sunt activi sau raspund din timp la mesaje.
Am decis sa public acest articol intr-o limba de uz international pentru a fi putut inteles de cat mai multi fosti si actuali camarazi de arme, unii dintre ei nefiind romani.

I decided to write this article with the occasion of reaching the God of War achievement, article in which I wish to describe some facts about my military career in this game. Beside that, I’ll insert in the story the opinions of some other military men who have also been part of the MUs I was in. May you enjoy reading this!


Garda Nationala Transilvania

The first player I talked to in this game I remember to be redbody, who on that time had another name which I’m not gonna tell you due to some personal reasons of him. We talked on a chat who existed then in the game and he told me first about GN, which I assumed to be Garda Nationala (or the National Guard), a special desiganted MU for new players. I applied for the MU in January 2010, at level 5, and I was assigned in the Transilvanian National Guard (Then, the Romanian National Guard was divided into 4 smaller national guards, based on regions). I was recruited by Nilbog, who was then commander of GNT. I was new to the game but GNT helped me get used to it, they organized parades with some other bigger MUs, parades in which they also held contests with prizes for us, new soldiers. I also remember when Nilbog asked on the chat if one of us had a newspaper with over 50 subscribers. I had 100 and he assigned me to represent GN in a Media Mogul Project organized by the Romanian Army and the Minister of Media, project consisting in subscribing 10 newspapers owned by 10 soldiers from different MUs and donating the gold for GN, for the new players. It took my newspaper to 500 subscribers in no time and it was quite good 🙂

Maybe because I was one of the active guys, one evening Mitzoi asked me if I want to join the GNT command office, to be one of the officers. I accepted and I had the chance to work alongside some tutors like Hoffa13, karma_aiko, octaviuta, Ramo2706, Shniper (The_kid), soy malo(klm_p), Surubu (who had another name before A.F.A.I.R.), Tatomir and Zamorack (PS, I hope I didn’t forget anyone else) but we were also helped by Greemans, who was the GNT commander before Nilbog. We mainly made calls, some of us, like me, recruited soldiers and some delivered the daily equipment for the recruits of GNT. I remember my first call wasn’t as I expected but soon I started to improve myself.

Well, it’s a long time since there isn’t GNT. There were some nasty things in which all the regional guards had to unite. I don’t know if that made more good or more bad in time but at that time it was the only good option. GNT for me it was a second family, that’s why I was staying more than 13 hours on chats and in game everyday, from the pleasure to help everybody. I felt very good there, specially in the first 2 months, I helped the GNT commanders to recruit new people and I dealt with explaining the game mechanics (V1). After some time they took me into the command office too, and there the work tripled, just as I wante😛 work, work and again work. It was a beautiful place and if the GN would happen to be again on regions, I’d involve as much.


Garda Nationala

After some time, I was admitted in the main GN (National Guard) channel, where officers from all the regional GN were gathered. I continued the same work in GNT and after some time, the GNT commander, cretzu104, was appointed GN commander and he appointed me his second in command (I remember being 2nd commander when Clara Alexandrescu was commander too). It was then I first entered on #smr, the famous Romanian main army channel. On that time, the GN main office had a formal role, more or less. But the V2/Rising version of the game came and went and the number of new players began to decrease so the talks and questions started as why a unique GN to be better and more sustainable than a GN based on regions.
The debates lasted until the MoD from that time, diuras, decided to do the undone and reform GN. He organized an open contest for soldiers to come with a plan for the future of GN. Four players came up with plans, me being among them. As a note, I was the only one who planned to mentained the regional GNs. The voting was delayed until, finally, diuras decided to ignore the plans received and appointed alpho, a seasoned soldier and commander, in charge of GN. Unfortunately, alpho wasn’t much active in that period as far as I remember so the next president, Griss0m, handed me the charge of GN. In the meantime, GN Banat was lost and there were some issues with GN Moldova, so I was practically in command of only two regional GNs, GN Transilvania, lead by Biscuite12 and GN Muntenia, lead by silviukimi. I wasn’t GN commander for a long time but I succeeded to obtain for GN a hefty chunk of money from the MUs ratio when the Minister of Economy, mmarian25, was a colleague of mine from my other MU. However, on the next ratio sharing, I haven’t received much from the MoE Alex Craciun because the GN soldiers were getting fewer.

My time and desire for the game began to decline so I had to leave the command of GN to one of my assistants, Biscuite12. Unfortunately, I didn’t succeed to reform GN when I had the chance but I’m glad that, afterwards, the GN command reached on what proved to be better hands and today GN flourishes. Now it has a better sparking emblem than the one in the picture, the emblem used when I was in command. (gosh, I planned then even to change the emblem/uniform. After I left it was held a voting process on more emblems).
From the time I was in command/second in command of GN I remember leading the troups in the assaults on Hungarian motherlands, when Romania lead by Bogdan_L conquered Hungary for the first time in history. I also started to reorganize parades of GN with other MUs from Romania, one of which it was Vulturul Negru, my other MU. Leading an assault of both GN and VN was, I think, one of my best moments in the game, not immortalized because I messed up something when recording 🙂
GN was founded on February 4th 2008 by Cristi Badea and, as I was saying, it was/is a MU designated for new players.

I joined the cradle of the community through the National Guard. I had the chance to catch the National Guard in its peak, when it produced players continuously with imposed economic skill, mostly land or manufacturing, when it was teaching hundreds and hundreds of new players and initiating them into the game mysteries. And yet, record that “GN Banat” was the mightiest region 😃


White Lion Order

By the very end of 2010 I was leaving Romania behind looking for a fresh start. I joined the ranks of WLO, being recruited by erech. WLO was an international MU founded in Finland, so there were many finns in it but not only finns. Its main goal was helping little nations maintain their stability, prosperity and ATO policy. After crusades in Singapore, Switzerland and Cyprus, WLO was coming back to the land of its foundation, Singapore. After Parrington accepted my citizenship application (a guy whom eventually I would’ve had supported for CP elections), the same Parrington, who won the party elections of SNUP, handed the party to Potaaiti. So we had a party we named The Tewionist Party of Singapore, the same name our party had on our last trip to this country (Tewio was our lion god, Tewionism our religion and Erius our High Priest). Being one of the active guys, I was soon handed the party leadership as our members started to run for congress. Next month I let Arctica to candidate alone in the party elections but after that I won the party elections for 6 times in a row. But enough with the politics, let’s talk something about military.
Soon after WLO came to Singapore, Malaysia lead by the fool king Fruitcommando viciously attacked Singapore. Malaysia was allied with China but the support from China never really came. We managed to repel the attack and we won the war, finally. The Singapore president was American Border Collie at that time.

On the other hand, I was in WLO when I won my first military medals.
The first was the Resistance Hero medal. It’s a hard medal to get in the game, but with the old rules when only one player had to support a resistance war and the cost was some dozens of gold, it was one of the hardest medals to get. I joined some auctions held in Pakistan and started to make bids. I won an auction at 4:00 AM Romanian Time and I started a RW there. It all costed me something like 60 golds, more or less. Next it was the Campaign Hero medal.
I aimed directly for the CH medal, thinking that I will likely get a Battle Hero medal along the way. nevvven, a chinese from WLO told me a tip about affordable CH medals in some RWs in North Korea with only 170k damage (at that time you could’ve won a CH with 170k), so the next day I tanked for the first time in the region of Kinky. I planned to start heavily in the first rounds so I could stand away from other medal pretenders, fighting for the losing side. I won a BH in the first round with no problems, my first BH, and in the second round it was a final confrontation between me and another player but I won the round/BH. After dealing between 100k and 200k, I waited the next rounds sparing myself for the end with small damages and waking up in the night every two hours. The last round was around 10:00 AM Romanian time. An indonesian tank, Dendi Uzumaki started to tank. The campaign score was 1-7 (old system with best of 15, not less than 2 hours every round) and he fought for the other side just enough to secure the round and end the campaign (1-8 ), so it was clear that the round it would be the last of the campaign. Seeing so, I started tanking over 100k for the losing side, while he also started tanking in the meantime. Finaly, he won the BH but I won the CH. I dealt more than 300k in the campaign, which it was something, spending like 200 gold for it, more or less. The remaining gold which I gathered just for the CH I spent on training.
My last military medal won for the first time was the Mercenary medal, and by winning that I had all the 10 medals in the game by that time.

Now, WLO is quite silent but if the right time comes, I will join their ranks again into a new crusade.

Our members are certainly some of the most experienced and influential citizens in the whole eWorld. We have men who are controlling whole nations behind the curtains, people whose skills of diplomacy are unrivalled. Some of us are great military leaders with enough firepower in their hands to turn the tides of any battle. Then we have had economical masterminds, who managed to achieve wealth well beyond imagination back then, when it was possible without using Visa. Everything combined, we can spread our tentacles wherever we want to.


eSingapore Armed Forces

When the military units were created in game, scottty, a former Singapore president, created this military unit for us, the only SG military unit in game for a long time. After scottty left Singapore to Australia, he gave me the eSAF command so I remained leader of it for the months to come.
Eventually, I became President of the Republic (I candidated from TPS, being like the only active WLO guy left) and it was then when eSAF got its first real war. Malaysia, lead by a warmonger greek in RL Atsalenios (Lenin1990), attacked Singapore again. Their ally was Indonesia, who had prio1 on the first 2 campaigns of the war. However, after I talked to the Indonesian MoFA KeRTaJaYa, they lessened their war support, but I/we still had to sign some MPPs to have an upperhand. We chose Cromania, althought we had talks with Poland too. The war was won mainly by mercenaries gathered on the #esaf channel and my right hand in this war was Alexandru Homana, which I appointed vMoD and awarded him a RH medal in the RWs that followed the war. Malaysia, the losing side, hadn’t much to pay as war compensation, we only let them without congress one month plus a sum of 30,000 SGD as war reparations. I must note that their MoF, TeMing was one of the malaysians who didn’t supported the war.

After the second eSG-Malay war in 2011, I remained commander of eSAF until some issues prevented me from logging into the game. The game mechanics gave the command to alimilano.
Now, in Singapore there are 4 military units, but eSAF, the first one, remains the largest. The emblem/uniform has also changed.

eSingapore Armed Forces is the largest, oldest and the official military unit in Singapore. We currently have almost 200 citizens enrolled in the MU despite the fact that the country is now under a massive Romanian PTO. For citizens of Singapore is the last thing left in the game that the PTO-ers couldn't take so leading this unit is both an honour and a responsability for me.


Knights of Singapore

Soon after I came back to the game, the Singapore administration changed as Tataia Sorin became CP. I wasn’t anymore eSAF commander and I wanted to give the country one last token. I created KoS in the very late of December 2011, the youngest MU in Singapore. Soon, some important players of the country joined the MU (Thedark ace, Arbryn, iwalkalone or evryhari). KoS became the third largest MU in Singapore and it's still the 3rd, but we sometimes manage to have the most damage in a day (although all of the Singapore MUs manage that from time to time, tbh).

Well, KoS to me, represents a group of eSingaporeans from the past who are still together despite all the PTO activity in Singapore. We are a group of Singaporeans, former or otherwise, who are here quietly in the dark. Guiding new citizens if they need help and waiting for a chance to rise again.

Vulturul Negru

I let Vulturul Negru (The Black Eagle) the last. Founded in May 2009 by Paul T. Craciunescu and avalone, it was meant to be the military unit of the paramilitary Romanian party eLegiunea Arhanghelului Mihail. I was very little when I decided to join eLAM in politics, and one of the reasons were that I joined the game from the refferal of dusmanul_86 and got a message from the Welcoming Committee from darkacid20, who were both VN and eLAM members.
After I gratuated GNT I had to choose a MU to join and it wasn’t a hard decision for me, as I wanted to join VN, then the most important MU associated with eLAM.
I had the opportunity to be lead by VN commanders like WaxDoll, Minimax, darkacid20, musashi_san, Razvan Briceag or auR'STAR, in V2: Lexutza and Manta B and, later on in the actual version, Bullterier (who also makes some top class statistics about the damage dealt in the MU, statistics in which I found myself on top in 1861 and 1730). Among the other commanders I didn’t mention I also fought alongside some of my former GNT recruits like totMarius, dromi, Senshi San(adytzuuu), CorneliuS16 (GN Moldova) and maybe even darkraft (gavrilb) but I’m not sure about this one.
In V2 I even had the chance to coordinate VN on the hexagonal map on some occasions.

After some time, I left VN as I wanted to travel abroad but I came back in the early 2012.
After musashi_san accepted my citizenship application, I rejoined the ranks of VN and the eLAM party, a party which would have started to have success again. I had my second term as PP of eLAM in spring and after some months, VN managed to have 3 presidents in a row: FreeGigi (August) and me (September) in Romania and Rickolas (November) in Israel. Maybe you feel akward that I talked about politics too in this article but on some occasions, the military and politics just can’t be separated, being a tight link between these two big game modules. About my CP term in Romania I can say that I was proposed to candidate by Paul T. Craciunescu, who was then the PP of eLAM and I had Didei(Didey) as MoD. I/Romania fought and conquered Malaysia, again, Singapore, my former country, and also Indonesia.
Currently I wear the VN uniform and I don’t feel like putting it down ever again.

VN was born as the military expression of eLAM and for me this is how it will remain forever. Unfortunately, VN isn’t how it used to be, it only remains a beautiful memory.
