Dear Citizens of Norway! I am Xenius Scorpicus, your Country President!

Current situation:
The last time I made this article, it was to point out that we had a problem that needed fixing, and I urged everyone to participate in healing our community.

So far this effort to revive the community has failed.....
- With the exception of BEWBS for FOOD, our forum is still quiet.
- IRC channel is still filled with mostly regulars; new people seem to be afraid of chats

When I last wrote this article, our current national stats where;
Then;
410 living players with Norwegian citizenship, 283 of those have more than 100 XP.
Now;
377 living players with Norwegian citizenship, 244 of those have more than 100 XP.

This is a serious drop in just 8-9 days.

Make no mistake, if we keep going downhill like this. It won’t be long before we are truly dead.

The one ones that can turn this around, is you!

We are soon at the point of no return. And only people like YOU can turn this around for us! We all need to contribute if we want to turn the current trend!

Here are some small pointers on how you can assist in bringing Norway back on its feet!


Use the national forum!
Everyone need to do their part in keeping our forums alive! Whether it be eRepublik related topics or not, just speak out and tell everyone what is on your mind! Don`t be afraid of creating topics! Post & Participate! Your post on this forum might be what is needed for others to join in!

Join our IRC channels!
This is in my opinion the best aspect of eRepublik! IRC is the backbone of our community; this is the reason why most of our old players stick around!

One might argue that a game like eRepublik lacks depth, and to some extent this is true. The game is as fun as you make it yourself. And IRC, the community, and getting to know other players are the best part about it!

I have made some good friends over the years I’ve been involved in eRepublik, and I am sure you will to!

Recruit Your Friends!
This is the most important contribution you can do for the Nation & yourself! If you don’t have any love for the nation, you should still do this for personal gain!

When you recruit someone with your referral link, you get 10% of all the gold they make. You also get strength training bonuses!

During the last month and a half, I have collected close to 60g on referral bonuses. 60g would equal around 42600 NOK! This is an insane amount of currency, just for inviting people to the game!

If you are really lucky and recruit someone that ends up buying gold, you get 10% of that as well!

-Who to recruit?
I have to say that I do not bug my real life friends with games like this. I usually stick to recruiting my online gaming friends. People I have meet playing other browser games, or just MMOs in general. If you have friends that already play games like this, I am sure you can trick them into playing eRepublik!

-The Ultimate Medal

Do you see this little fellow? You have probably not seen him in game before. There are currently only 4 people in Norway with this medal.

This medal is the rarest medal in the game, and that is reason enough why YOU should get it! No other medal has the same value to Norway as this one, and it is the rarest gem we have.


Post Articles in the News!
In addition to the items posted above, this is probably just as important! An active media section is needed to keep the community going. Regardless of its battle orders, political propaganda, personal poems or wierdness served by Henrich 1. It is all good & needed!
