(3) Censure

(i) Congress members may move for the Censure of any citizen accused of misconduct, violations of eRepublik or eSouth African law or treason.

(ii) The proposing Congress Member must clearly state the case and produce evidence in the initial motion.

(iii) Congress may debate the motion and submit questions for 24 hours.

(iv) The accused has the right to defend himself/herself except in cases of treason, in which case access to the forums will be denied and the Speaker will submit a Statement of Defence on behalf of the accused.

(v) Decorum will be maintained at all times.

(vi) After 24 hours of debate, a 24 hour Forum Vote will be conducted on the Motion of Censure, which will have to pass with a majority vote of 66%.

(vii) Censures will be published in-game by the Speaker.

(viii) In the case of the censure of a member of Cabinet, the Speaker will inform the President of such censure before in-game publication to allow the Presidency to take any discretionary measures deemed necessary.

(4) Hearings

(i) The Speaker of the Congress may conduct hearings at her/his discretion. The hearing thread will be marked [Hearing].

(ii) All citizens of eSouth Africa, including members of the Cabinet, may be called to testify.

(iii) A citizen called to testify will receive a message from the Speaker labelled [Subpoena]. They will then have 24 hours to respond in the designated thread on the Forum.
