Hello Citizens,

I am writing to you as a candidate for Congress in Missouri this month. My goal as a member of congress would be to represent you. Yes i know how you get told that time and time again, but I actually will. Anything that is sent to me will be brought up, and respected in its own right.

My Goals

My number 1 goal, the one that I hold the highest, is that everybody has a voice. This means everybody. I believe that everybody's opinion is valid, and should have a say in how things are run. This is evidenced in how the SOL militia is run, as well as the party I belong to, the Bastards of Liberty. Both maintain the importance of everybody having a say, and all issues are voted upon on the forum. Everybody gets equal vote, there is no favoritism.

The second main thing I believe in is transparency. I believe members of the country should know what is going on. There is nothing to gain from keeping our people in the dark. Military

I fully support military spending. Given how the game is structured there is very little else we can spend money on. Yes DoI programs are wonderful things that help many people, but the good of the nation relies on the military.

I also heavily support the militias as well as the official military. The militias exist because people wish to play in different ways. This is most definitely not a problem, I support people helping in whatever way they can. There is no inherent system that is better than others, just ones that work for different people.

I fought for the OMS last month when many tried to take it down, and I plan to continue doing so. Not everybody wants to be tied to the official militia, participate in Roll Call, and do things in the same way. Some, like my militia, want to do things our own way. We are no less devoted to the country. No less willing to put in our damage to our counties goals. We just do not want to be bound to that was of doing things.

Taxes

My views on the military being said, i support taxes only being as high as needed for this goal. The current Monetary reserve at the time of this writing is over 33 million. I understand the need for a good reserve, but at normal spending level that reserve will last 5 months with no income. The reserve does not need to be that big, and there is no longer a great need to grow it. There is currently a discussion in congress to lower the taxes, which I fully intend to support to its conclusion.
