Deploying Troops: Part II, a hypothetical war

Day 504, 12:11 Published in USA Poland by Ryan_5

There are few scenarios where a nation may consider deploying troops. One is when fighting a resistance war in another nation. The other is when fighting a battle where Alliance are not active. to answer the question, when does importing troops become more cost effective than tanking, I am going to explore a hypothetical war.

Set-up. it is Day Two of the battle, Nation A is defending a non-original region, and the battle it close. With no items saved up and only 782.5 gold, the President must decide how to spend it. There are 5 FM in Nation A. Also, Nation A has a Q5 hospital. Nation B is an ally of A and is at peace.

Option 1: Tank to the max. Equipping the 5 FM with 45 Q5 weapons each and 40 wellness packs
cost: 782.5
damage: Total Damage is 62204
FM 1: does 12530 FM 2 does 12485 FM 3 does 12440 FM 4 does 12396 FM 5 does 12353

Option 2: Import from Nation B, unequipped. paying for moving tickets, and nothing else, importing 1304 troops
cost: 782.4 gold
damage: since my last article has only gotten 5 votes, I decided it was worth calculating the individual damage,of 1304 people could do. however to match the damage of the maximum tanking, the1304 troops only have to average 47.7 damage. Keep in mind that is with 5 fights. That is 9.5 damage a fight. Also. the damage done by FM includes 5 fights that they get with a hospital. Which is more than 6000 damage.

There are more options, but right now I am not going to calculate them. Obviously there are problems involved with transporting 1300 troops. There is risk, since there is no guarantee, that they will move or fight for you. There is also a considerable shoe leather cost. From what I noticed there is high sensitivity to the shoe leather cost in this game, so that may also prevent 1300 troops from being transported.
