Greetings citizens of eSA
It is the duty of the Department of Immigration to inform the country that
there has been quite few cases of misconduct by congress concerning Immigration.
One case in particular has caused quite a stir recently....
This weekend i was informed by congress of a citizen (Stadler City) bribing congressmen with promises of congressional votes to earn citizenship. i have a quite handful of congressmen who can testify to this and there is a topic on this in the immigration section so all of congress are free to go check it out themselves.
After this discussion in the DoI section citizen Stadler City was eventually approved by congressman drift1 (who claims not to be aware of the immigration process).
Well the problem is that....

NEVER APPROVE UNLESS U HAVE CLEARANCE.
The least a congressman can do is enquire with me or the MoS Ines Schumacher by PM.
Even if it is a case that u feel is no threat u should still inform us... So we cant atleast do the most neccesarry checks. BUT all congressmen are EXPECTED to follow procedure and visit the Department of Immigration section in the national forum before approving anyone, its quite simply your duty. To be honest 50% of all applications are usually not approved so the chances of
approving someone who shouldn't be approved it pretty damn high, even people claiming to be RL safs needs to have their RL status confirmed first.
This Immigration service exists for a quite few good reasons. And there is NO good reason NOT to be using it. Our ultimate goal is to protect eSA and give out our limited citizenship approvals to those who are deserving. Keep ignoring our warnings and watch eSA get PTOed AGAIN....

p.s The immigration process will on hold for 24 hours allowing time for this article to reach most of congress before i waste my time again in screening citizen applications which people ignore anyway

Wat if the person selects eSouth Africa when creating a multi or joining the game... wat methods are being done to make sure that none of these people have negative motives towards eSA?

well concerning accounts that are eborn in eSA..if they are multi's the only thing is to report them and hope the admins to their job..
otherwise the only thing left is to expose their motives publicly apart from that there is almost nothing that we can do i fear...
In my opinion i feel an ecountry should have the ability to revoke citizenship ingame...
We report the multi, Griff3n. Not much we can do beyond that. When joining the game... not much either. But those joining eSA when they join the game for the first time, legitimately, will prolly not be here to kill us.

Thank you for reporting this matter to the public. Members of Congress that do not follow the rules need to be named and shamed and hopefully never re-elected.
If an e-country has the right to approve citizenship applications it only makes sense that they should also have the right to revoke citizenship, but only with strict rules in place to ensure that this is only done when the citizen is a proven danger to the country and not just if those in power want to get rid of someone that doesn't agree with them.
Stadler City was part of a PTO operation here in eUSA. You might want to get into contact with some of our officials in the eUSA like Rod Damon or Astra Kat G who could provide you with some names and more info. Good luck to you guys.

I think we've all made mistakes in the game and I want to believe the mistake made by the congressman lacked malicious intent even if it was pretty heinous.
Some people run for Congress because it sounds fun - that doesn't mean they're prepared or have any idea what to do once elected. I think we all need to learn from this and that political parties need to help educate candidates on the basics of what they must be prepared to do should they gain office.
Zagarius - I think that he should be heard out. Its not like you record is totally clean and we still love ya. I think people can make mistakes.
