Democratic Republicans no more?

Day 883, 14:15 Published in USA USA by Shermain

I am watching the Democratic Republicans dissolve before my eyes. After renaming the party a few months ago, many thought they name change would kill the party, they were wrong. If my math is a little wrong I apologize in advance, but since the name change we have had good election cycles.
In our last Party Presidential election our party was PTOed. Now instead of Democratic Republicans Leadership creating a New Party or going into exile until next PP election we have been asked to fold our tents and join other parties. Why? I understand the mechanics here, and for the security of the country. I am over these talking points.
I will be the first to say this; “no leader of any party will share power with another party’s leader.” I do not care what types of deals are cut and promises are made. Deals and Promises have one thing in common; they can and will be broken, when the time is right. Will that time be a few months from now, all hell will break out? I am not fanning the flames by any means but Democratic Republicans and our rightful leader although she is not elected as of right now should not give up so soon. I hear of a new constitution that may be crafted, rules that are going to change but where is our (DR’s ) voice in all of this, we are a small major in a BIG majority party.
I hear tells of our current congress men and women will have the full backing of party leaders of the new parties, but I ask will you give them votes to retain his or her seat in the next election cycle? Will you over look your own for the new comers entering the party?
The point is: It is not our party; we can say it is but that is not true. I would like to hear from our rightful leader on where this party is headed, are we done as the DR party.
