Deeds, Not Words
Bassett
My name is Bassett and I'm offering to serve in Parliament from the province of New Brunswick. We need leaders who can help guide Canada and the world to a safer and brighter future. I'm relatively new here and there are many other fine people qualified to be in Parliament. But in my short time, here are a few of the things I've done:
* 199 fights since the battle of Nova Scotia on day 601
* started this newspaper to help readers understand the issues facing Canada; in a country of barely 500 people I've got over eighty subcribers. You can go back and read past articles if you're interested
* I've started a new company in Canada, and helped raise wages and lower the price of food in Canada. (When I started the company, the price of Q1 food was CAD 2.60 and the starting wage for level 3 manufacturing skill was CAD 2.41. You can see how much that's changed in the past few days.
* In the days leading up to the fall of Canada, I offered guns to readers of my newspaper. And I'll be funding moving tickets and more weapons for the resistance war in Alberta.
* I've started to work on a new web site for the government of eCanada to make it easier for citizens to find information they need (instead of trying to hunt through forum threads). It's not ready yet, but I'm interested in suggestions and input from interested parties.
Here's a quick promise (in two parts):
* If chosen as a candidate for the Canadian National Coalition, I'll donate 5G to the government of Canada, to be used for whatever priorities the government has.
* If elected, I'll donate another 5G to the treasury of Canada.
Quoting Jean Chretien "I pay to be in Parliament!" I'm in this to help the community, not just for the cash.
And here's a platform I will support if electe😛
* I support all available military, economic, and diplomatic measures possible to bring all of Canada under Canadian rule as quickly as possible. (I hope all parliamentarians support this objective.)
* I support the immediate construction of a hospital, for the benefit of the Canadian economy. Workers need wellness, and they can't get it now. If Alberta is won today, or soon, we can put it there, but if not I am in favor of building it in an Atlantic province (and I'm not opposed to doing both). With a functioning hospital, Canadian warriors can come home and help rebuild our economy directly.
* I support the creation of a network of organizations and political parties across all of Canada, especially in the occupied regions, to stand up for the democratic and human rights of Canadians and to promote social, cultural, and economic links across Canada until such time as all provinces and territories can be restored to Canadian rule. In territories held by Hungary, Iran, and the other occupiers, we can still vote, speak English, and trade profitably with each other.
* I can help government ministers and agencies with communication tasks, to ensure information is made available in a more accessible and timely way.
* I support a foreign policy that promotes sovereign self-determination as the top priority. Specifically I call for the restoration of original territory in Canada, the United States, Spain, Switzerland, North Korea, Germany, Denmark, Russia, China, Ukraine, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, and any other country suffering unjust occupations. Restoring territories to the democratic rule of the people who live in them should be the highest priority, even ahead of geostrategic position or short-term preferences of our allies. From a position of moral clarity, we can address the exaggerated grievances of our enemies to find a path to lasting and just peace.
I will work for these goals whether I am in Parliament or not. I don't have as much experience as some people, but I'm also not tainted by the greedy and short-sighted errors made by past administrations. I can bring a fresh perspective. I have strong opinions, and I'll express these, but I'll work with anyone who wants to promote the interests of Canada.
Please choose Basset for Parliament with the Canadian National Coalition in New Brunswick in August 2009. Thank you for your consideration.

You done some good things for eCanada and i salute you for it. But having been in a few debates with you I also know you are close minded and inflexible when you have an opinion. I won't be voting for you and i'll be advising many others to not lend you there support. Use that 10 gold to buy something besides votes.
can I have some gol😛P
Just to get the facts straight on Rylde's comment here: His patron Bruck chose to disrespect the elected government of Canada, calling it the "Jacobi" government (in quotes), claiming that Canada had no working president, and demanding that the government send a representative to their forum instead of discussing issues on the established Canadian forum. I called them on this. Throughout the crisis, I have been loyal to Canada and to the government chosen by its people.
Since then, wiser heads have chosen to gloss over and ignore the disagreement. I'm happy to work with anyone who supports the goals and interests of Canada (as defined by the government chosen by the people). But you're right. If you want a politician who will bend like a reed when someone speaks with a harsh word, vote for someone else. I won't be bullied or intimidated.
@Elixir
You're doing okay for gold. I'm offering to help Canada. Some people run for office just for the five gold. That's not what I'm doing. I have been helping people fight for Canada by giving them weapons and moving tickets. We should all do what we can.
You do realize that Denmark and Pakistan continually choose to keep there territories occupied right? In fact both of them as in Thailand forfeited regions to help PEACE just in case you wanted to know.
Your incapable of giving negotiating like a rational person. You don't believe in give and take a little for both sides. Like I said inflexible and unbeding like you say. We need people in govt with open minds and that aren't living in the past. if you haven't noticed the countries changed a bit.
@Soheil
Many PEACE countries have political elites that don't serve the interests of the people in those countries. We've seen Hungary use the Polish PTO of Germany as a justification for occupying most of Germany. The people don't always agree, hence the recent resistance war in Thailand. Except in the very short term, countries don't need to occupy their friends to help them.

I'm sorry that I just don't agree with your group's opposition to the elected government of Canada during a time of crisis. I've said that I support improved communication between resistance groups and the Canadian government. I do believe that Canada's internal political issues should be resolved politically, not by independent action of private armies. I've demonstrated a willingness to engage people in open discussion. You're taking one dispute and making a big issue out of it, without responding to the points offered against your opinion, to the exclusion of all other subjects. That's your democratic right.
