BREAKING NEWS: Belgium's last territory, Brussels, occupied by Poland; Belgian people resist! (Hour by hour update log)
Brussels & Wallonia On dag 2791 in the late night, Poland began it's attack on the final Belgian territory, Brussels. In the early morning of the next day, dag 2792, Brussels fell to the Poles. It all went down so quick due to time of the attack as well as the overwhelming stregnth of Poland, but the Belgian people were even quicker to respond.
The Belgian government's response was an outraged one and they denounced Poland for being a "bully" and for "pushing around small countries (like Belgium) and using them as landing strips to conquer others"
The Belgian people's response was more agressive as they took to the streets today and started a resistance movement in Wallonia against the Poles who had previously conquered it earlier with frusteration of the conquering of Brussels. They are determined and willing to die fighting courageously to liberate and free their homeland.
Updates will be posted below as the war progresses.

Update at 13:00, Dag 2792 Poland is still in the lead in points, but Division I has gained some domination while Division II is dominating over Poland. Belgium still has yet to gain any points however. The socre is still in favour at Polan

Update at 14:00, Dag 2792 Poland is slowly starting to pull a final win. The war doesnt look so well for the resistance. The current score stands at Polan

Update at 15:00, Dag 2792 No gain in points has been made by either side. Belgium has gained some influence, but Poland still dominates the battle with the score remaining at Polan

Update at 16:00, Dag 2792 Poland has made another gain against the Resistance movement which has yet to score a single point, but they fight on in hope of pulling off a miracle to win. Polan

Update at 17:00, Dag 2792 Division I of Belgium is dominating but the other three divisions are being dominated by Poland. Belgium is still determinated but has scored no points yet. The score still stands at Polan

Update at 18:00, Dag 2792 Belgium finally gains a point due to the valiant efforts of division I, but Poland is still winning the battle. Yet the Belgian resistance refuses to give up, and continues pursuing giving no sign of letting up against the Polish oppressors. Polan

Update at 20:00, Dag 2792 The point total for Belgium has rose by 6 points, but so has Poland's by 5 which leaves Belgium in a tough position with the point's total at Polan

Belgian Socialist Party announces it unofficial founding
Brussels A new eBelgian political party has announced it has been unofficially founded, the Belgian Socialist Party. This means that a political party has yet to be created on the eRepublik website, but officially exists with members. It is expected to be officially founded when the political party has been founded on the website through donations.
A short list of some of the goals of the party include retaining sovereignty, creating alliances with surrounding European nations, increasing the national population, and much more.
They plan to enter into the next congressional and presidential elections if possible and bring eBelgium into a new age.

It doesn't help when Belgium is only three territories, so only 3 chances every seven days to do it.
it's the problem when you are not really friends with all countries, and when you have not really ennemies. Here why we are so occupied, just because we don't have a lot of mpp, and foreigners countries don't lose their 🙂

Also, who are the members of that new party? I think it's a better idea to fuse with one of the other existing parties rather than create your own from scratch, you will come out stronger.
Yep, an article every day, and I don't think it's good to merge with a new one considering that there are no real "left parties" in Belgium. If you would like to donate, it would help.
The Belgian-American Union used to be the social-democratic union (SDU), try them. Ideologies don't have a lot of impact on the game so it really is interchangeable.
I would like to see Belgium under a new socialist administration, and I'm not really much pro american. I'd rather be more self sufficient and more open to fellow European neighbors.
