Confessions of a National Zombie Disaster Coordinating Council Director

I was dressed to go out, which for me means mostly comfortable, but also skin tight in certain areas. My date for the evening wore all black with a red tie. I think he's a mix of ethnicities: Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Filipino... what I did notice were the almost obscene bulges all over him.

"So... I see you've gained weight," I remarked casually.

It was true. When I first met him a week ago, he was paper thin. And clean. Now, he's bloated and incredibly messy.

"Look, I'm not the type to judge anyone by their appearance, but I must tell you that you are very dirty. Very."

No answer. He's always been the silent type. I bit my bottom lip, uncertain as to how the evening will go when my secretary fortunately interrupted the awkward pause in our conversation... or, rather, the conspicuous lack of one

"Madame Director, you are needed in Congress for an Emergency Meeting. Please stop talking to your trashbag and dress appropriately," he sniffed disapprovingly. "Your dress is covered in food stains."

With a sigh, I took off my tight plastic gloves and handed it to my secretary.

"See to it that my date gets to his destination safely."

"Madame Director, drawing a smiley face on a garbage bag does not constitute a date," my secretary remarked sardonically. "This is not what it means to 'take out the trash'. You are purposely misidentifying it."

"I see. Very well," I replied, narrowing my eyes at my former "dinner companion".

"Be sure to take him out...permanently."

I walked into my bedroom to ready myself for the meeting, hearing a flustered sigh from my secretary as I left him to deal with the "trash".
