Day 670, 19:42 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

For those of you who don't know today is Micheal Lewis's ebirthday and I am declaring it Michael Lewis day in honor of our esavior. You can read his teaching here http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/oregon-today-176960/1, now on to serious business.

Today was a huge day for American forces as they have successfully pushed Colombia out of all American regions. While it is still very possible that Colombia pulls off another landswap this is a huge victory if only for a few days. Couple this with the elimination of Iran from Canada and PEACE is down two countries in North America which will make it much harder for them to keep the U.S. blocked. PEACE has made up for the loss of Colombia by bringing in France which has been successful in forcing America to retreat some regions, much like Colombia at the start of their war with the U.S..

With America currently blocking Russia all F/E needs to do is block France so that America can fully regain the initiative against PEACE and start to retake the rest of their regions. America has been able to go on the offensive against Russia over the past couple of days and take regions like Arkansas and Alabama back, however in order to do this the U.S. has had to retreat regions to France. Canada should be able to hold Hungary off by continuing their daily blocking attacks into Saskatchewan which they have been doing for several weeks now.

Russia has also been running into trouble with Norway back in Europe. Early on in the war Norway and North Korea both teamed up to block Russia from attacking the U.S.. The Russians were angered by this and responded by taking out North Korea while Norway decided to back off and leave Russia alone after that. Norway was able to secure Northern Russia yesterday and is now looking to conquer the region of Leningrad- Oblast. Russia currently holds a slight lead in the battle with about 18 hours left to go.

Also worth noting the U.S. was able to liberate Texas through a resistance war. This will serve as a huge economic boost for the U.S. as Texas has high oil and a large population. Texas has gone back and forth between the U.S., Indonesia, and Colombia however now that Colombia is out of the picture it seems that Texas is going to be staying American for quiet some time.
